Buying a car has historically been a horrendous experience as far as I am concerned, but my experience at South Point Hyundai could not have been better. I have come to expect car dealerships and experience as far as I am concerned, but my experience at South Point Hyundai could not have been better. I have come to expect car dealerships and car salesmen to be rude, high-pressure, and CLEARLY interested in only one thing: how can i put you into a new car today? By contrast, Ron Scott and the other employees and managers that I dealt with at South Point Hyundai were professional, courteous, prompt, and respectful throughout the entire process of the deal. Ron listened carefully to all of the concerns and issues i had. He was very clear and candid about the cost-benefit of the hybrid options, and seemed to genuinely care that I made the choice that was right for me instead of just maximizing his commission. I would like to personally thank Ron Scott for redeeming the profession of car salesmanship and representing South Point Hyundai as a quality dealership where buying a car can be a pleasant experience. More
When I walked in the dealership I was apprehensive and nervous about having to deal with a salesman, then Rich walked up and everything changed. I have never been more comfortable on a car lot. Rich was so friendly and knowledgable that I was put at ease almost instantly. He definatly raised the bar for the entire car buying experience. I got great customer service. I didnt get accepted by any banks for the first week. so i almost had to choose a cheaper car. Michael Nathan was a very personable and approachable salesman who did not make me feel incredibly pressured to buy or go out of my comfort zone as far as pricing. I knew what I wanted when I arrived at the dealership, and he made it happen as smoothly as possible. They were very open to my requests surrounding the purchase and offered me more than I had imagined for my trade-in. A lot of my friends and family made car-buying sound like a terrible ordeal, and I found my experience to be quite the opposite thanks to South Point Hyundai. My finance contact was Brett Hopkins, and he was also very pleasant and understanding. When I relayed my concern about the pricing of some additional coverage, he and the manager, Cody, worked with me to meet my needs. I would recommend South Point Hyundai to consumers who are looking for a friendly, no-BS car purchase! More
Bought a Elantra 2012 from this dealership. I originally went to Hyundai in Round Rock and they offered $9000 for my 2008 civic lx coupe. South Point offered me $10,250 and sold me a new car that was around went to Hyundai in Round Rock and they offered $9000 for my 2008 civic lx coupe. South Point offered me $10,250 and sold me a new car that was around $1000 cheaper than what Round Rock offered. Am very happy with!! More

I walked in expecting just to look, but Erik and Cody were determined to find me the car and price i wanted. They were extremely friendly and it was a pleasure to spend my afternoon with them. I would definately recommend this dealership to a friend. Initially, i was looking for an older used car with a little more milage, but Erik showed me an almost new car with low milage and helped get it in my budget. We were even able to add the extended warranty. Kyle in financing didn't waste my time explaining products i didn't want, and made the final process painless. Overall i would say, they exceeded my expectations, and made my car buying experience an enjoyable one. Well done! More

I went in to South Point as a recommendation from my roommate. I heard about her great experience and was due for a new car. Rick helped me though the whole process with getting my credit application approved and finding the cars in my range. He made sure the car I found was reliable, clean, low mileage, in good condition. He did all that and I am very satisfied and will be coming back for all my cars here. Kyle in finance helped me make sure that I was able to get great coverage on my car while also lowering my interest rate to try to make sure I would have the lowest payment as possible. I visited South Point Hyundai a week prior to my purchase, on a mission to see what was out there in my price range. My boyfriend and I were greeted by Rich, young, and lively. I was looking for a n purchase, on a mission to see what was out there in my price range. My boyfriend and I were greeted by Rich, young, and lively. I was looking for a new, but used car with approx. 20k and under 11 thousand dollars. He said "That's going to be tuff..sigh.." A week later, when my finances with my bank were secure I was ready to purchase, I visited a few other dealerships around Austin before returning to South Point Hyundai; Greeted again by Rich. This busy guy recognized us from the week before, snuck away from another deal for 2 minutes to show me a car, he ended up handing me the keys and allowing my boyfriend and I to test drive the car without him; while he got back to his other costumers. I had pretty much made up my mind to purchase this car after returning to the dealership... But I still wanted to look one more place, and it ended up being South Point Kia, which is associated with, you guessed it, SOUTH POINT HYUNDAI.. So Rich was able to accompany us down to the neighboring dealership in my new car**. We ended up not finding anything in my range at the Kia dealership so we went back to Hyundai to make the deal. Rich did good for me, he got me the car in my price range. This all happened over the weekend after my bank had closed so bright and early monday morning I had to get all my insurance and finance ducks in a row, I then headed South to pick up my car! Rich was working 2 deals when I walked in, but made time to tell me he had my car and keys ready for me. I handed the over the papers they needed and he handed over my keys! He showed me to my car, checked to make sure the tank was filled, all the while asking how excited I was.. which by my face he could tell extremely! :D Thank you Rich Hoff. More
