We were helped by an exceptional salesperson named Tim. He and the dealership were very much willing to work with us on a trade-in for our 2007 Camry and the purchase of two cars (a 2007 Accent and a 2012 He and the dealership were very much willing to work with us on a trade-in for our 2007 Camry and the purchase of two cars (a 2007 Accent and a 2012 Elantra). Everything was great on the purchase side of things. A few days later we did have a minor issue with the Elantra but that was fixed at no cost to us. The only issue that I feel should be mentioned is that both cars were received with a single key. This was no issue for the Accent as this is a physical key but the Elantra is a different story. The Elantra has a smart key (electronic) and the car can neither be opened nor started without it. Additionally, you can't simply buy another key as a spare. The car must be programmed to accept the key. Consequently, if the key is lost, the car would need to be towed into the dealership to then purchase a key, have it and the car programmed, and a new physical key created. The point of this detail being it is not a simple key that was not provided (something I could have copied at Home Depot for example). It was instead an integral part of the car's operation. The Elantra was slightly used but was a 2012 model. When I realized the danger of only having one key, I brought the car in and asked for a discount (possibly buying it at the dealer's cost) to have a second key made for the fact the key arguably should have been provided at the time of purchase. The response was that the car was used and that was all that was turned in with the car. I of course understood that but only wanted to get a better rate for the key's replacement than someone simply walking off the street. Only a couple days before I had purchased two cars after all. No such deal was made. I was told there was "nothing they could do." The key cost me nearly $330. As I said above the purchase of the car was easy and enjoyable. Even the contact with the very professional and helpful support consultant named Patricia was great. She did everything she could to help us and keep us informed with the progress of getting the key made and the other minor issue resolved. My only issue was the feeling that the dealership profited off the fact I was never given a second key. After purchasing two cars I paid the same price as someone who had no business dealings with them. I do not feel this was right. More
Jeff went the extra mile and trouble to help us get what we wanted. We had a particular color car and interior that we wanted that was difficult to find and there were only 2 in Texas. He had to have the car transferred and was able to do so quickly. He was respectful, warm and competent. Everyone involved with the purchase was very attentive to us. There is a terrific customer service feel that comes across genuine. My son loves his new car and I appreciate the easy experience we had working with Jeff. More

I have been into the dealership thrice. The first two times, I had been helped by Tom Cruz and the last time I was helped by Dan Dillard. Tom did not give me a break up of the Sonata that I was intereste times, I had been helped by Tom Cruz and the last time I was helped by Dan Dillard. Tom did not give me a break up of the Sonata that I was interested in, just quoted some final numbers, saying he will beat any other dealer's price. I got three different quotes for the three times I went in. The irony was that the quote Dan gave me the third time was about $700 higher than the second quote that I got from Tom. Please be careful with dealing with them and ask for break up of all quotes. They also have horrible customer service - I was waiting for about 1 hour before I was helped the third time. On top of that, Tom won't even have the courtesy to return my calls and stand behind a price that we agreed upon earlier. All in all - a classic typical crooked car dealership. Please be very careful while dealing with them. More

I bought my first car 6 years ago and had a HORRIBLE experience, so I was really hesitant to go through the process again. I went to a couple of other local Hyundai dealerships before I went to South Po experience, so I was really hesitant to go through the process again. I went to a couple of other local Hyundai dealerships before I went to South Point, but couldn't get the deal I wanted. Then, I talked to Rick King at South Point and got exactly what I wanted!! He was awesome!!! I never felt pressured, he made sure I was comfortable the whole time, and really made sure I was knowledgeable about the car. It was such a great experience and I felt so lucky to work with him. The rest of the staff, such as business and finance managers were also very helpful. I would recommend South Point to anyone and would go back to Rick King for other car purchases in a heart beat! More
I was looking for a new Hyundai Tuscon (I had one that was totaled in a car accident and it saved my life) and knew exactly what I wanted from accessories to price. From a friends recommendation, I went to South Point to check out the new Accent. Mike greeted me and from the outset it was a relaxed experience. There was never a hard sell. He just listened intently to what I wanted and showed me a vehicle fitting my description. Mike provided clear information on the car and made sure I had any questions answered to my satifaction. He was very easy to work with and really wanted to be sure I was happy with everything involved in the purchase. He was very clear on each step of the buying process and easy-going the whole way. Mike and everyone involved made it an enjoyable,relaxed experience. Even staff not involved in the purchase were fun to talk with, just talking small talk in-between the purchasing steps. I can't imagine a better enviroment or better service and satisfaction for a car purchase than I encountered at South Point. More
I could not be more pleased with my experience at South Point Hyundai, and more importantly, with my experience with Jason Rinaldi. I live in Houston, but was visiting my brother in Austin last Saturday Point Hyundai, and more importantly, with my experience with Jason Rinaldi. I live in Houston, but was visiting my brother in Austin last Saturday, and we stopped by South Point Hyundai to look at a used Santa Fe I had seen on their website. I also inquired about pricing on a New Santa Fe, as I preferred to buy New (and get the better warranty). Jason was able to work a deal that would put me in the New Vehicle for the SAME price as the used one! Throughout 2 hours of test drives and discussion, Jason was extremely professional - in fact, he is the best salesperson with which either my brother or I have ever dealt. He never pressured me, answered all of my questions and concerns in an unbiased manner, and was extremely skilled at listening (a rare and valuable trait for a salesperson). He focused on my needs rather than his. His quiet, confident manner was a pleasure, and ended up being a significant factor in my ultimate decision. We had to run for a dinner appointment with our wives, and I expected to be pressured to close a deal before leaving. Not only was I NOT pressured, but I was offered the car for the weekend so that I could mull over the decision at my leisure out of the sales environment. After returning to Houston, I spent several days trying to beat South Point's deal at a local Hyundai dealer. I may have succeded, but was so turned off and insulted by the Houston dealer ("Old School" high pressure type), that I decided to buy from Jason instead. Jason closed the deal perfectly and to my benefit. It may sound odd, but I knew that I would be treated more fairly by Jason and South Point. That comfort is worth a lot. On top of everything else, Jason offered to drive the New car to Houston and drive my Jeep Trade-In back to South Point so that I would not have to make a second trip to Austin. If that isn't customer service, I don't know what is. After buying the car over the phone, Jason delivered it to Houston (at no cost to me), and we did the paperwork at my home. Hyundai customers know the value of the Brand, and the Santa Fe (both of which I am extremely pleased with) - my purpose here is to recommend South Point and Jason Rinaldi specifically, and without qualification or reservation. I have already recommended South Point and Jason to several neighbors, and my brother is planning to see them for his next purchase. If you are in the market for a Hyundai, I highly recommend Jason Rinaldi at South Point Hyundai - it was the best decision of my 30 years of car purchasing experiences, and it will be your best decision as well.
