SouthPoint graciously accepted the vehicle back and encouraged improvement in my health. They even returned my trade-in vehicle to me in better condition than I traded it after "prepping" it for sale as a used car. It was the diagnosis by my medical specialist that caused me to reluctantly return my newly purchased automobile to SouthPoint, the day after I purchased it. Many salesmen and managers were sympathetic and encouraging. Management has accepted the return of the vehicle and agreed to give to me the same teriffic l pricing once my health permits me to drive again. Thanks and best wishes to all, Norma M. Management voided the contract and returned my older trade-in vehicle in better condition than I had traded it to them. They had "prepped" it" for sale and I received the of that as well. Patrick was nice of enough to drive me there ; which was like 2 miles away .A nice band playing at the time . South Point is a Great price even though a flew in from El Paso isn't that were the have the number 1 HYUNDAI dealer to bad they didn't have a blue elantra gt . Bottom line they will heip you get the most rebates and and best price without having to haggle wit them. One more thing make sure you ask Al about the 10 year 100k miles service agreement . Forgot to mention Patrick brews his own beer . I took it home and dam its good Remember don't drink and drive I was at home when I drank that beer not on the road . He included feedback from previous customers and compared our vehicle to others to make sure we made an informed decision. Josh went above and beyond after we decided to purchase the Hyundai Elantra GT by helping the finance department fix paperwork setbacks. I know he didn't have to; his portion of the deal was complete. However, Josh felt obligated to ensure we had a great overall experience, and he facilitated communication between me and the finance director to make sure the entire experience went as smoothly as possible. South Point Hyundai was significan Highly Recommended! I shopped at Hyundai, Honda, Ford, Toyota and two different Kia dealerships for a new car. South Point Hyundai was significantly more friendly and straight forward. No high pressure sales and I never felt that I was being manipulated. I told them at the beginning that I did not like high pressure techniques and that any attempt to do so would immediately end the negotiations and they fully respected that request. I made several visits back and forth between various dealership and told them the offers that I was getting from others and to see if they could match it. Without any high pressure techniques, they gave honest straight forward answers and comparisons. In the end, they offered the best deal of any of the dealerships. The management at South Point Hyundai was equally friendly. (Yes, that is how it works. The more you negotiate the price down, the more management will become involved.) And the girl in finance is really cute (sorry, forgot her name). Again, no hidden fees and no pressure to purchase add-ons. I am 71 years old and have bought numerous cars over the years. This was by far my best experience and best deal. Andrew Tennies was a patient and very honest salesperson. If you plan on buying a car, make sure you visit South Point Hyundai and be sure to ask for Andrew. I had originally called to see where we stood with getting a car due to some credit and payoff issues on Friday. We were not expecting to be able to do something until September. After 2-3 hrs on Saturday, my wife was driving off in a 2013 Genesis Coupe Gt. Tom didn't pull any tricks or surprises. He laid everything out and didn't try to steer us into something that was unrealistic. They went above and beyond..."let me say this again"...ABOVE AND BEYOND...on the trade in value of our car. When we got to finance, we enjoyed the experience. Eddie Gomez walked us through delivery and made sure we understood everything. We were never stressed during our process at any point. The entire staff have positive attitudes and they sell great cars. Other salesman were checking on us to make sure we were doing ok. The reason I say that, is because we have been to different dealership who act "funny" with you. We will be looking to trade my car in the next month or so. I only have personal complaints with the particular salesman I worked with due to his lack of useful service and deceitful tactics. Apart from this salesman, this dealership had no noteworthy shortcomings… Just chose to do business with another salesman- ANYONE but Enrique Rios. I'm writing my review because I feel a duty to warn all prospective buyers about this car salesman’s tactics. Do yourself a HUGE favor and at least consider this review when dealing with this sleazy, deceitful, crook- At least you will know his approach and won't be blindsided. The salesman, Enrique Rios, appeared to be a friendly guy. He listened to what I was looking for, my concerns, and said he would take care of me... But please don’t be fooled by his charming demeanor. BEWARE! He will TRY to sell you and cheat you blindly. This salesman used every lousy auto dealer trick in the book. His tactics are: the ole ‘bait-and-switch’ to get customers in the door- bate you, sweet-talk you, build your trust but won’t give you any pricing and INSIST you have to come in; Then to keep the customer waiting while they ‘negotiate the price with the general managers’; and then hard sell on expensive undercoating-- that only serves to increase their own personal profit margin. It truly is just all smoke and mirrors, manipulation, and disrespect once you do walk into lions den and deal with this salesman. I would rather spare you all the details of my grueling hours long experience, so simply put: "bad business" is just "bad business", any way you want to look at it. I felt it was important to expose this salesman’s lack of interest to serve their prospective clients and instead- serve their own financial interests. I was lied to, manipulated, and treated unfairly. It was not called for. Never, have a seen such an arrogant, disrespectful person who was seeking MY business to prey upon. If anything, please use my bad experience to your benefit by reading this review and not wasting your time with this guy. I suggest purchasing from another salesman that treats others with dignity, respect, honors their word, and delivers the best experience. Just an honest deal at a great price, That’s all! I've had a Hyundai for over 5 years and enjoy it so much I wanted another Hyundai, but possibly smaller with better gas mileage and more eco-conscious. I thought I would just test drive a car, but they were so nice and friendly - they made me an offer on my 2007 Santa Fe that I could not pass up, and they gave me great financing on a really sweet Elantra GT. They take time to answer questions; they introduce you to the service department, and they really follow up to make sure you are satisfied. I would recommend Enrique Rios and all the staff at South Point Hyundai to everyone! More
