First of all I contacted South Point using the standard internet enquiry from the Hyundai website. Tom Cruz (awesome name btw), got back to me the next day with all the information I needed. We discussed much of the deal over email since I don't like to give out my number early on. He was great about that and gave us a better price on the exact same car that we had test driven at Round Rock Hyundai. Tom was not pushy or aggressive, he knew we had the knowledge of what we wanted and was really respectful and nice to talk to, I think they live by that as I saw it on the wall in their office. Eddie from service was also great. I know we hounded them for a good deal and including some extras in the price, but they went through. I think any "irritable" quirks can be attributed to the fact that we did the whole deal from 630pm to 10pm and everyone was tired and hungry. But kudos to the team because they stayed there until the deal was done and we got what we wanted. Jeff in finance was also really great. Helpful, quirky, not pushy, honest and straightforward. I really would like to commend these 3 guys for a job well done. We are happy with the deal and the car we got and I thank them for making this purchase process painless. More

BEWARE of Southpoint Hyundai. I recently went in for a car they have advertised online. I was promised this car after test driving, we had a verbal agreement but I wasn't able to sign anything because th car they have advertised online. The sales person, Carlos Aguilar, made it very clear that the price listed for the car online was non negotiable, and ensured me throughout the SIX phone conversations we had that the car would not be sold to anyone else, that the price was still as listed. Four days into this, Carlos explained to me the transmission was cracked but under warranty and would be fixed before sold to me, and would be available in a week to pick up. Flash forward one week later, and suddenly the price is for the car as-is (not at all what the website ad says) the warranty is voided because the owner did after market repair work, the transmission replacement is going to cost $8,000 IF they were to do it (which of course is going to increase the stated "non negotiable " price ) and that the car is not in fact being held for me regardless of what his employee ENSURED me EVERY conversation we had. We spoke to someone named 'Jeff' today; he told us if we had done our research we would have realized they would not sell a RUNNING car for this price. Implying it is MY fault they have been giving me the runaround for over a week. Overall this was a terrible experience and I hope this review keeps people away from this extremely shady, unprofessional dealership. If they would have been upfront with me about the broken car they STILL have advertised online, in perfect condition, I would not have wasted a week waiting around; I could have found something else from them even. Now that I know how terribly shady they are I will continue to spread the word. STAY AWAY. More

South Point provided as good an experience as you could ask for from buying a new car. I called South Point looking for a relatively rare trim vehicle (Genesis Coupe 3.8L V6 Track 8A/T) and Patrick and his ask for from buying a new car. I called South Point looking for a relatively rare trim vehicle (Genesis Coupe 3.8L V6 Track 8A/T) and Patrick and his delivery staff located and traded for my car from a dealership in the Houston area. The process started on Thursday late afternoon, and by Saturday morning I had the keys to my new car. They quality controlled the vehicle prior to delivery and fixed an issue no questions asked. The sales and delivery process was smooth and relatively stress free, and the finance department was thorough in their description of everything I was signing including warranty and financing paperwork. I feel like I was given a fair price on the car and walked out with the numbers in the range I was looking for. I'd definitely recommend this dealership for anyone looking to buy a new Hyundai. More
