These guys keep calling me asking to sell my "old" (a few years old) car and buy one of their new cars. I looked into it once and the offer was insulting and a total waste of time. Since then for about a year I have been getting calls/text/emails every month or so asking if I want to sell my car and buy a new one and every time I tell them no and to tell them to take me off their solicitation list and never call me again- but like clock work they try again month. This is completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury the car we bought has had issues. Brand new when we bought it and about a year later the transmission starts breaking down and it takes forever for them to admit and replace it even though its under warrantee. More

The others acted like I was lucky to have them help me-but not at South Point Hyundai; Ilya made the experience simple, painless, and quick. I really appreciated that he didn't come across in any way like a pushy salesperson, just a person who wanted to do their best to make sure my transportation needs were met at a reasonable price. In the ten months (and 35k miles) that I have been using my 2013 Sonata I have had ZERO problems and absolutely love the features. The low tire pressure alert saved me from getting caught in a thunderstorm with a flat tire, the heated seats make long miles easy on an aching back, and the XM radio keeps me up with news, sports, and any kind of music I might want to listen to. Without reservation I would recommend Ilya at South Point Hyundai to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, and I will definitely call him the next time I am in the market for another car. More

We visited South Point Hyundai browsing for vehicles to see what our options were. After having some personal credit issues we needed a solution and to find someone who would work with us on it. From the minute we pulled into South Point Hyundai, Carlos was there to greet us. We told him up front our situation and he was confident he would be able to help us find the right vehicle. He was extremely kind, patient and HONEST. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mr. Carlos Aguilar. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a vehicle and wants a trustworthy person to work with. He is truly a pleasure to do business with and represented South Point Hyundai very well. We never once felt pressured by him yet he still managed to get us the vehicle we could afford and suited our needs perfectly. The finance manager (Jeff) also was great to work with. Over the years I have purchased or leased 23 automobiles and never has that task been simpler and handled more professionally than my recent purchase of a new car from South Point Hyundai. At my request, the entire process was handled by emails. I had researched the sales people on line, and while there seem to be many good people to work with, my selection of Tom Cruz turned out to be a winner. Tom could not have been more helpful and was a genuine pleasure to work with. Never did I feel the least bit of pressure. Because of scheduling limitations on my part, Tom even overnighted an optional component that I wanted to be on the car when I picked it up. I ended up with a great car at a great price. What surprised me a little was James in finance. In my experience the finance guy is usually the unpleasant part with pretty strong arm tactics re extended warranties, etc. James explained those options in clear, understandable language. My response was that while this extra warranty may be good for some, it was not for me. James accepted that with absolutely no push back. Probably the first auto finance person who, at the end of the process, I still found to be not only professional and competent, but a genuinely pleasant person. Eddie Gomez took charge of showing me how all the features worked and was very patient with my fumbling attempts at my first navigation system. This is the 3rd Hyundai I have bought or purchased from this dealership. At one time I had an issue with my 2011 Sonata that the dealership took ownership of and resolved it to my complete satisfaction. The service department has also been first rate. I think it is also indicative of the quality of the dealership when they hire and retain people like Tom, James, and Eddie. All in all, I could not have asked that this task have been handled any better. Kudos! More
