Took my Soul in to be serviced because the engine light had come on and my oil light wasn't coming on when it was 2+ quarts low. When I picked it up they told me the only thing they found was a faulty gas had come on and my oil light wasn't coming on when it was 2+ quarts low. When I picked it up they told me the only thing they found was a faulty gas cap. Charged $85. Took it back a couple months later because I can't keep up with the amount of oil it's burning. Suddenly I need a whole new engine. Wait, WHAT? There are recalls on these engines left and right, mine isn't one but has the exact same issue. I spent 10K more on this car than I've ever spent and got screwed. The service department should have caught this earlier. The dealership should not be allowed to resell these cars knowing the engines are trash. My favorite part? I was told that if I'd been the first owner, they would have replaced the engine. Then they charged me $165 to tell me I needed a new one. More

I arrived @7:15am for my appointment. At 10 am I was told I needed some totally bogus repairs that had nothing to do with my visit . The service person then told me my car would be fixed At 10 am I was told I needed some totally bogus repairs that had nothing to do with my visit . The service person then told me my car would be fixed shortly. About 11:00 am she comes out to tell me a part would be ordered. 3 plus hours waiting just to be told a part had to be ordered and the attempt to push bogus repairs on me is not acceptable. Service manger was called 2different days to complain but he doesn't return calls apparently. More
