I originally came for a recall. I asked for a rental car for the time being. I walked into the service department to see about the rear view camera because the upper corner was getting foggy for our 2022 kia soul while my husband was looking about buying another Kia .The service rear view camera because the upper corner was getting foggy for our 2022 kia soul while my husband was looking about buying another Kia .The service writer "Sabrina "told me that she they couldn't tell me until they look at it and I have to make an appointment . Well I did and when I took it there ,I waited 2 hours and 15 minutes to find out that my car was not touched or moved and she was calling my husband at work asking him if we ordered the part for the car .My husband told her what part you are talking about and that my wife is there setting in lobby waiting for u to tell her why there is fog in the rear view camera and if it is under warranty since it is 2022 and less than one year old .My husband called me so I stepped out the lobby to tell Sabrina that I was in the lobby like I told her and to clear and confusion but she was very rude and not professional and complaining how many clients she had to see that day and she could transfer me to another service writer .Hence ,I went to see the service manager "Justin" who kept ignoring me pretended to be busy .I walked back in and told them that I just wanted to leave and could you bring my car .This when Russel "another service writer "stepped in and saved the day .I knew Russel from previous service appointments and he was always great and very professional .He let one of the mechanic look at it but unfortunately he couldn't because Sabrina has misplaced the car key .Now I have been there for almost 3 hours and the car has never been touched or moved .After 5 to 10 minutes they found the key . Well it took mechanic one minute to fix the problem .There is a film cover on the rear view camera from factory and before the dealership sells the car it should go through inspection and remove the film just like removing the plastics from the interior .Apparently , brewbaker Kia didn't do the inspection because when we bought car the tires pressure were 45 instead of 33 and we still have the plastics inside the car covering the seat belts buckles and the film covering the rear view camera has never been removed .In conclusion, my trip to the Kia service department was a nightmare ,Sabrina was rude ,unprofessional and incompetent ,the service manager Justin is incompetent and unprofessional .Russell was great as always and saved the day.
