Mrs. Means, I believe you may have misunderstood the conversation you overheard while you were here. I was not being rude to any customer. I am not rude to my customers. Sometimes, I have to be matter of fact and explain things that are difficult for people to understand but, I assure you, I was not being rude. What Russell told you about the diagnostic fee of $165 is that if something is found that is not or can not be covered by warranty, then you would be responsible for that fee for performing the diagnosis. We tell every customer that comes into our shop the same thing. We say that just in case we find something that has been damaged or otherwise affected by an outside influence that is not covered by warranty. It is not to say that we are going to charge you that fee, it is just in case. I would say about 90% of the time it does not apply because whatever caused the issue is usually covered by warranty. We did not leave a ring off of your vehicle during your routine maintenance. After leaving our shop, one of the rings on the oil filter cover broke which is what caused the oil to leak. Believe me, I wish it would have broken while it was here so this situation would have never happened! This was not an error on our part, that is a part defect. Having said that, we towed your vehicle back to the shop immediately, redid the routine maintenance, washed and vacuumed your vehicle and delivered it back to you. I believe we went above and beyond to make up for the parts defect and to show our sincerest apologies. As unfortunate as it is, these kinds of things do happen from time to time. We value every single one of our customers, and would have done the same had it happened to anyone else. First I do not believe you all went above and beyond for me but whatever because the alleged detail wash was trash but that’s not a big deal to me . And as far as it goes with the customer I felt it was rude but that’s just my opinion which is neither here nor there . I was asked in the survey how my visit went and I was being truthful to the best of my knowledge. I did not go into full detail about the lube situation because however this is just a message and it would’ve been clearer if it were in person. I do not have an issue with Russell he was ok. My issue is with Sabrina who was nasty when I had my problem with my car .
