Don’t lease or buy a car here. Went in to lease a new vehicle, the sales person told me and my wife the vehicle was upstate and would be shipped to the store on Tuesday. After putt Went in to lease a new vehicle, the sales person told me and my wife the vehicle was upstate and would be shipped to the store on Tuesday. After putting down a $2500 deposit I was told I would be contacted In a couple hours with a vin number for my insurance company. After several hours I was never contacted so I made a phone call once again. The salesman who made the deal said he would contact me later that night which never happened. I again called in the morning before the delivery to receive the vin and was told he wasn’t available and would call me right back, another 3 hours go by with no call. I was then given an illegitimate excuse for no one contacting me about the vehicle. The Sales manager got on the phone with an extremely disrespectful and unprofessional tone and told me “I’m being stern with you” and told me that they didn’t have a vin number for the car that I was told I was getting and that no one said the car would be here on Tuesday. I asked why he was giving me and attitude and he stated “this is being recorded I’m not giving you an attitude”. I had no contact with my salesperson Whats so ever and was just looking for an update. I have never in my life felt so disrespected from a dealership before. Everyone should think twice before going here to spend your hard earned money. More

I have been dealing with Nick Beddoe since my last lease over 3 years ago. He is always there for his clients long after the deal is closed. I live in Yonkers and in order to feel secure and confident I drove out to Smithtown, Long Island to do business with Nick, who is the Sales Manager at the Smithtown dealership. I also want to assure you that when you get to the financial office you will find dealing with Paul Abizeid is a total pleasure. He takes the time to figure out your best options and explains everything to you. The salesperson Ethan Wheeler was professional, kind and courteous. I was totally satisfied with my experience and can assure you that I will be driving out there for my future car deals. More
Horrible dealership! I wouldn't trust them. They will try to sneak in extra fees. Not to mention the rude, sarcastic, arrogant finance manager. We called him out on the I wouldn't trust them. They will try to sneak in extra fees. Not to mention the rude, sarcastic, arrogant finance manager. We called him out on the $2,000 he added on to my lease buyout. He really couldn't give us an answer. It wasn't on my contract. I said, you can make up any number. He actually said yes! Then had the nerve to say that I don't own the car. Things got heated. I actually had other salesmen standing around yelling out nasty comments to me. They are not good salesmen, they are out to make as much money off of you as they can. Finance guy wouldn't give me his card or a real name. The next day I called to try to get names and Brandon wouldn't give me names. It was crazy!! Stay clear of this place. More
I would give 0 stars if I could...I walked into Smithtown Nissan to purchase a 2019 Nissan Rogue on Sunday, 1/12/20. I got there around 3pm. I sat for over an hour going back and forth (like we all do). Then Nissan to purchase a 2019 Nissan Rogue on Sunday, 1/12/20. I got there around 3pm. I sat for over an hour going back and forth (like we all do). Then at 4:30pm, the sales guy called my insurance company and told me they weren’t open and he had to call Monday to get the paperwork done. I happened to notice on his business card (after the fact) that he worked until 5pm, so clearly he didn’t want to have to work late. I called my insurance company the next day and they said they very well could have helped him Sunday. That was problem #1. Then Monday when I went to pick up my car, 1/13/20, he didn’t have my spare key. So I filled out the paperwork. Including a 3 year contract for free oil changes and tire rotations. I had to come back twice to finally get the spare key. That was problem #2. So problem #3 was… I noticed a pretty big chip of paint (approx. 2” long) along the side of the driver side door. I cannot tell you the disaster it was to have this properly fixed. I had to go back 7 times!!! Yes, 7 times!! It looked like white out the first time, then 2 different shades of white, then there was sand pieces in the paint, then white paint all over the chrome and black around the window, the list goes on (and I have pictures and it’s all written out in detail). Meanwhile, the sales guy and sales manager begged me not to write a review. Then COVID happened and Smithtown Nissan actually closed down and let go all of their employees (contract issues with the ownership). They re-opened summer of 2020 under new management, hiring back some of the same employees in the service department, so I was able to work with someone who knew all the drama I had in Jan/Feb of 2020. Fast forward, I went for an oil change in Jul 2021 and their system was charging me for the oil change, but I had the service contract for free oil changes/tire rotation. The service manager waived my bill and I did not have to pay, again, he knew all the drama and I had a copy of my contract. Fast forward to an oil change in 12/21. They were telling me I had to pay. I went home, got the contract and went back. They told me they would not honor it since it was new management/ownership. I said I understand, but it’s still Smithtown Nissan. So I called the company that my contact was under, Portfolio Protection. They told me I was definitely still covered through Jan ‘23 so I called back the service department. That was when they changed their story and said they wouldn’t cover since it takes 2-3 months to get reimbursed from Portfolio Protection, so I’d have to pay and get reimbursed. I called Portfolio Protection and she said that was not true. It was 1-2 days. So I called service again! Now they said if I come in on a weekday, they will do it and they will pay. Again, changed their story. Needless to say, this is the worst dealership for customer service. I have now heard so many stories of problems here, with old management and with the new management/ownership. I took my car to a different Nissan dealership and they were nothing but helpful and even laid out the money as it was a Saturday and Portfolio Protection is not open on Saturdays. BE CAREFUL HERE!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! More
