Very happy with my experience. I leased an 09 Maxima from Smithtown on Thursday evening. They treated me very respectfully from start to finish and were quite pleasant to deal with. Our salesman Amir from Smithtown on Thursday evening. They treated me very respectfully from start to finish and were quite pleasant to deal with. Our salesman Amir was friendly and easy to deal with....no tricks or games played at all. The General Manager even came over and introduced himself and offered us a free first oil change, as well as made sure we were satisfied with the entire process. The finance manager was also quite friendly and didn't pull any of the usual "could i interest you in the Teflon undercoating or window etching?" garbage. Took the car home that evening as they had exactly what I wanted in stock, and couldn't be happier. Only 3 hours from walk in to drive home. More

We didn’t think we w enjoyable one. Our salesperson, Matt Brown was very helpful. He listened to what we wanted and came through on all our requests. We didn’t think we would be buying a car the day we went to Smithtown Nissan because we wanted to shop around to get the deal we could afford, but that is exactly what we got at Smithtown Nissan. Smithtown Nissan was the only dealership we went to and ended up buying a Nissan Altima. The dealership is clean and the whole staff is informative, professional and friendly. We would recommend this dealership to our friends. More
In October of 2009, my boyfriend and I purchased a used vehicle from Nissan of Smithtown. At first everything seemed okay, only to find out 5 months later that they were out to screw us. When purchasing th vehicle from Nissan of Smithtown. At first everything seemed okay, only to find out 5 months later that they were out to screw us. When purchasing the vehicle they told us that the payments would be $440 per month. We told them that that was way to high for a 5 year old car with 50,000 miles, but they insisted that they would be willing to work with us. Charles, the salesman, brought us over to Stanley Sigerson, the finance manager, and that's when the deception began. Stan told us that he would cut us a check for $700, which would cover $140 of the first 5 payments, bringing our payment down to $300. He said to give him a call in March, and he would refinance the car and get our payment down to $300 for the remainder of the loan. I asked him if this was done often and he said it's done all the time, it WON'T be a problem! The first Saturday of March my boyfriend and I called, reminded Stan of the situtation, and he said that it wasn't a problem, he'd contact the bank and that they would be sending us the paperwork in 2 weeks with the new loan amount of $300. 2 weeks came and we did not receive any paperwork. I called Stan back again on a Saturday, this time he told me that the banks were not open on Saturdays and that I would have to call him back on Monday. I called him that Monday and once again the story changed. He said that I would have to call the bank myself, give them the information, and get this refinanced on my own, but that it wouldn't be a problem and that the payments would work out to be $302 per month. I contacted the bank, and got everything settled with them. When I went to go sign the papers they informed me that I would owe $2,000 out of pocket because apparently when you refinance they will only cover a certain percentage of the trade-in value and you are responsible to cover the rest of the payoff amount. Infuriated, I left the bank and called Stan right away. I explained to him that he never once mentioned that I may have to come up with money to meet the payoff amount, and now I was sitting at the bank being told I owed $2,000. Stan was not concerned at all, and basically told me he's not responsible for this. I questioned him about the paperwork he had told me I would receive earlier in the month, but he had no answer. When I told him that he must have really wanted to sell us a car, based on all the lies he fed us, he responded saying, "Don't give me that...we all know you WANTED to BUY the car!" and proceeded to hang up. I called a few days later and spoke with Craig Fina, the manager, and explained the situation to him. I informed him that the only way they could make good on this deal was by continuing to cover $140 of the next few payments like they had previously done, bringing me closer to the payoff amount of the loan, so that in 2 months I could refinance again and not owe $2000. Craig told me that he didn't see that as a problem, that he would talk to Stan and call me back in the afternoon. Needless to say....I've never heard from them again. Apparently their only willing to work for you when they want you to buy something. Before you even think about purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, make sure you read reviews written by other people, cause for many their experience with dealership was a nightmare. They are all a bunch of scam artists. Buyers beware! More
