My entire experience with Smithtown Nissan was the best. I have leased a few cars during my lifetime, but this experience starting with Rob Tarnowski as my salesperson went extremely smooth. My family and I I have leased a few cars during my lifetime, but this experience starting with Rob Tarnowski as my salesperson went extremely smooth. My family and I felt that Rob was extremely genuine and knowledgable and explained every detail of the lease to me from head to toe in an easy to understand, concise, and thorough manner. I never felt the hard sell approach at all from Rob, which my family and I really appreciate. He explained all of our options and helped us decide that the 2011 Altima was the best car for our family. Rob's manager Ray Krisa consulted with Rob and Ray was able to get us a fantastic deal on a 39 month lease, which is what we were looking for for my son. We were looking for a low price lease with as little as possible out of pocket along with the trade in of my son's truck. Frank D'Amato was so friendly and knowledgable and explained every aspect of the financing that when we left with our new vehicle that evening we all felt that Smithtown Nissan really gave us the best deal possible for our situation. I will recommend Rob Tarnowski, along with Ray Krisa and Frank D'Amato, to anyone and everyone that is looking to buy or lease a vehicle. Went into Smithtown Nissan a week ago Sunday to look at a new car. Have owned Jaguars and Lexus and wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to buy a Nissan. I had seen the Maxima and thought it very attrac new car. Have owned Jaguars and Lexus and wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to buy a Nissan. I had seen the Maxima and thought it very attractive. Matt handed me the keys to a beautiful red Maxima and told me to take it out for a ride. Very nice car, but still I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to leave Jaguar or Lexus. It really isn't all about the car. There is a great deal of weight given to how the dealership treats you. Buying a car shouldn't be agonizing. it should be a pleasure. Matt made it a happy experience. I explained to Matt what was on my mind. Matt really is a professional when it comes to sales. He listens, is not pushy, but very good in his ability to read people and make them happy. I was straight out with Matt and told him that I was going to go over to the Lexus dealer to take a look. He was very respectful of the fact that i wasn't going to buy a car on the spot without satisfying my own mind. Never did I feel pressure from him. We returned later that afternoon and bought the car from Matt. The next day we picked it up. First time i bought a car from someone without going to at least two or three other dealerships. I have leased 4 cars from Nissan in Garden City. One of my cars, a 2010 Nissan Maxima, needed a new tire. I felt I was overcharged for it. I also recommeded another customer who purchased a car from them my cars, a 2010 Nissan Maxima, needed a new tire. I felt I was overcharged for it. I feel that when I looking to lease a car, the salesmen come out of the woodwork. When I have a service issue, I got the impression that no one wants to go out of their way to really help you. The impression given is, you leased the car already, we don't really care now. My husband had to make a phone call twice regarding this matter, and only then they gave us $75.00 credit for future service. That really didn't impress me. It should have been done in the beginning. We decided to go Smithtown Nissan because we received information in the mail. We dealt with Bill Doyle. He was great and efficient. I would like to thank Smithtown Nissan for having such a wonderful salesman. In the future, I would definitely be doing more business with you. Thanks. More
Went in to look at a Sentra hooked up with "Bill Doyle" and with in 2 hours was driving off in the new car. Price , service and making sure you got the best deal "Over the top" with a rating. I was in the market for a new car for my daughter. I was considering the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla & Nissan Sentra. After doing extensive research it came down to the Honda & Nissan. Both dealers are ne considering the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla & Nissan Sentra. After doing extensive research it came down to the Honda & Nissan. Both dealers are next to each other so I was able to visit them each in the same day. I visited Honda first but once I went over to Nissan I was sold. My salesperson (Matt Brown) was courteous, knowledgeable and most importantly was not pushy in the least. He asked me questions and quickly produced a Sentra model that was right for my daughters needs. After he took me for a road test and answered some more of my questions I was certain I would purchase my car from him. He suggested that my daughter come down for a test drive as well and we purchased the car immediately following. I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Smithtown Nissan and particularly Matt Brown. I would highly advocate them to all my acquaintances. More

I was greeted by Mr. Doyle as soon as I walked into the dealership on 1/1/11. He was very pleasant and was very knowledgeble on the different autos available. I told him what I was looking for. He showed me a few cars to choose from and I immediately knew which one I wanted. I informed him on the amount I was able to spend and he was great. He worked with me with what I could afford. This was all done in an extremely timely manner. I traded in my old car and drove out in the new one the very same day. Mr. Doyle made this purchase a very pleasant experience. I love the car. I also went back for my first oil change and he was there to help me with any additional questions I had. I will definitely recommend this dealership and Mr. Doyle to anyone. Thanks again Mr. Doyle. We were very impressed from the time we walked in the door. There was no pressure or a salesman looking over our shoulder. The business is run very efficiently and is first rate. Matt, our salesman, was patient, a good listener, extremely knowledgable and had a tremendous amount of positive energy. He made us feel like we were his first and only customer. He listened to our needs and encouraged us to test drive a vehicle on two separate occasions to be certain it was the one for us. Greg the General Manager, introduced himself and was available if we we had any questions. He too made us feel comfortable and welcome. After a two week search, and visits to several different dealers up and down Middle Country Road, we came back to Matt and Smithtown Nissan and found the vehicle that was perfect for us. Chris made the entire leasing process painless and it was done with speed and efficiency. No games were played and we walked out very happy. We will definitely recommend Smithtown Nissan to our friends and relatives and plan to give them our repeat business in the future! More
