When I went there I did not expect to buy,only price. The sales person made it to good to pass up.We received a good trade in on our 2008 Maxima and drove out of the dealership three hours later with a new A sales person made it to good to pass up.We received a good trade in on our 2008 Maxima and drove out of the dealership three hours later with a new Altima. The loan person was brief and explained everything clearly. The sales person always came over to see if we needed any help.This is not the first new car we bought, but when ever I closed out a deal I always wanted to see if I could have done better else where. When I left this dealer I felt it was the best deal wihout shopping else where. More

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the dealership starting with the General Manager, Brian and the salesman he personally directed me to, Rob. They exemplified knowledge, clarity, extreme dealership starting with the General Manager, Brian and the salesman he personally directed me to, Rob. BUYER BEWARE!! I negotiated a deal to purchase two vehicles from Smithtown Nissan and potentially a third. After a handshake was exchanged, I repeatedly asked for a copy of the paper work (in person vehicles from Smithtown Nissan and potentially a third. After a handshake was exchanged, I repeatedly asked for a copy of the paper work (in person and via telephone) and was told that it was not necessary. The day after a price was negotiated and agreed upon I received a call that the vehicles were not available and that a mistake had been made. When the vehicles were finally located, a new higher price was negotiated and confirmed. As a new price was agreed upon, I again requested a copy of the contract, however Nissan never provided same. I confirmed the deal, provided insurance and financial information and made arrangements to pick up the vehicles however, when I arrived to pick up my vehicles and after I happily viewed same, I was taken into the back room to meet with the owner / manager and was advised that he couldn't honor the deal - he was losing money. To make a long story short, I walked out and will never do business with Smithtown Nissan. As a side note, I just purchased three vehicles at the same price Nissan Smithtown would not honor from Baron Nissan. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER! Extorting money from consumers at time of pick up, after an agreement is reached, is unacceptable. More
I walked in to Smithtown Nissan to buy a 2011 Altima. I knew exactly what I wanted and Bill Doyle did not try to talk me into something I did not want. I found that to be refreshing. Within a few hours I knew exactly what I wanted and Bill Doyle did not try to talk me into something I did not want. I found that to be refreshing. Within a few hours I drove away with the car I wanted. I found Bill to be honest and direct. I was able to test drive a few different cars and felt comfortable when I made my purchase.
