Agreed on an out of the door price online and after sitting with the sales manager he did not honor the price and said he can not do the deal. I needed a good used car with low mileage, and afforadable price. Matt showed me a great 2001 Nissan Maxima GLE. I didn't like the way it looked when I first saw it. I took it out for a test drive and liked the way it handled. matt told me it would loo klike new when I came back in 2 days. I had my doubts. I came back with the cash, and my sceptesism, but was pleasently supprised. The car looke like it had come from the showroom floor. I have had the car for a little over a month, and I love it. It get good gas mileage,it rides great,and looks great. Matt did not pressure me into buying it, it sold itself. Matt was pleasent,and professional. I woulsd recomend him,and Smithtown Nissan. I came to Smithtown Nissan on the recommendation of my nephew. I had been a customer of Legend Nissan in Syossett and was very dissapointed in there Service and salesmen. Coming to Smithtown Nissan was the best thing I did. Not only was I pleased from the minute I walked in the door by the receptionist, but all the way to picking up my car. Matt Brown is a great person and not only made my purchase easy and stress free, but he also went over all my car's features. He made it so easy to download my phone, add my CD'S to the music box and just made the whole transfer so easy!!!!! Chris Nesky was also great!! He took care of all the paperwork in record time. Needless to say I would recommend your dealership and especially Matt Brown to everyone I know looking for a new car!!! I will say one thing thou, you should give your Night manager Brian a course in public relations. He was so rude while he was talking on the phone and speaking to his sales reps. that I couldn't believe after working with such great people as Matt and Chris I had to listen to Brian. I had given my credit card to hold my purchase. When I came back to get the car and take care of all the taxes etc. I wanted a credit on my card and I was giving a check for the balance including the deposit. He gave them a hard time which I could hear from the next booth. He was not happy with the credit and said that he did not give credits!!! I only wanted the credit so I could give all the money by check. I did not want it on my credit card. No one said anything, but I could hear him!!!!! We leased our Altima from Smithtown Nissan in 2009. While the sales person was OK in his Service, i had such a bad experience with the finance manager that i SWORE to never get another Nissan again! I was lied to by this manager (oriental looking) and was actually told "whatever deal the sales person agreed to with me didnt natter, this is the deal, take it or leave it". I just got another car from Atlantic Nissan -in they were like a breath of fresh air. LOVED the experience and am so glad that i can enjoy a Nissan without the attirude from Smithtkwn Nissan More

I have had my Nissan for approx. 2 months now and If you want a HONEST car salesperson ASK FOR MATT BROWN, you will not be disappointed. I have had my Nissan for approx. 2 months now and love it!! The car is exactly what MATT described!! Since this purchase was my first new car I had been to about 10 dealerships within the week of buying this car, including other Nissan dealerships. Therefore I had already spoken too numerous car salespersons within the week, so I know MATT was different. MATT is extremely professional, goes way above and beyond and the best part there is no BS with MATT, he cuts straight to the point. He walked me around the lot showed me exactly what was in my price range, what was not in my range, and prices we could work on. MATT let me test drive a variety of Nissans so I could get a feel of what I liked, even if it was out of price range. I really liked his patience, even though it was extremely busy I never felt rushed. He crunched a lot of numbers for me and was straight to the point. He answered all of my questions and believe me I had many “ What if “ questions. Since this was my first new car experience, I had my father come down from upstate NY to make sure I was getting a good deal. My father has plenty of experience with Nissan. He liked MATT so much, this summer he plans on coming down to MATT for a newer Maxima! Since I have had the car MATT actually called me twice to see how everything was going with the car.
