We were buying a new car for our daughter who just got her license. This was the worst car buying experience ever. After we signed and left a deposit, we were never contacted with any updates as to whet her license. This was the worst car buying experience ever. To make matters worse, when WE called there numerous times to find out, our phone calls were not returned. Matt was always "with a customer and would call back". Never happened. He actually had someone else call us back because he was too busy. Then when we tried to use Michael as our contact, he wouldn't call back. No updates. It was very frustrating and my daughter was very upset. We went to get our deposit back (after we were told we MUST come in to get the deposit back - even though there was no merchandise involved). I will never go to this dealer or Matt again. Although he is supposed to be one of the top salesmen, personal service for a "not so expensive Sentra" compared to other cars he may sell, never happened. We were forgotten about!!! Not acceptable! PS - When we went to Huntington Nissan to buy this car after we were so poorly treated at Smithtown, not only did we know what was available that SAME day, but we got the car within a week and for a much better price!!! Something to be said about a "top" salesman versus someone who is smaller and more personal trying to make a family and new customer happy!! More

Let me start off by saying I used to sell vehicles and know from working with certain people it is difficult to find an honest, caring and friendly sales consultant. Those words and many more would be us know from working with certain people it is difficult to find an honest, caring and friendly sales consultant. Those words and many more would be used to describe our sales man Robert Mitchell and finance manager Arnie Phelps. My girlfriend was in immediate need of a new vehicle and for the most part knew exactly what she was looking for. Robert helped us make sure of the exact model she wanted. Robert made the transaction very easy especially the negotiations. We then met with Arnie Phelps to get approved and it was quick and seamless, as well he reminded me the importance for a maintenance contract as well as service contract. They both were completely honest with the pricing and costs of the items and provided document proof. All the sales manager were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We picked up the vehicle and Robert showed my girlfriend and I every thing about the car that needs to be shown. This vehicle purchase was not stressful and all in all a great experience, we completely recommend Smithtown Nissan and more importantly Robert Mitchell and Arnie Phelps. So if you are in the market for a Nissan swing by that dealership and you will experience the great experience we did! More
