I still have bad taste for this dealership due to the final process with the F&I Mgr. Joe AKA: "TINY" asking for $2300 for an Acquisition fee after we thought we were all done, 3 hours at the dealer, all final process with the F&I Mgr. Joe AKA: "TINY" asking for $2300 for an Acquisition fee after we thought we were all done, 3 hours at the dealer, all paperwork signed, (so we thought), plates transferred, & then 30 minutes till closing he asks how I want to pay for it as if it was a $20 fee. We leased 2 cars that day, we felt & we still do feel that we were taken advantage of that day, that is why we don't recommend this dealer for sales but I do recommend for service. We bought 3 cars there that summer, with Rob Turnowski, who we liked, who told us we will be treated like family REALLY! "Like Family". Since that FINAL day with Smithtown Nissan I have leased a 2011 Toyota RAV-4 for my wife, she originally wanted a Murano & purchased a 2010 RAM 1500 for my other son, he wanted the Titan. Next car will be a KIA Optima or a Nissan with another Dealer. P.S. Service Techs are more professional, put them in Sales & Finance More
I had a great experience at smithtown Nissan. I was able to get a wonderful car there. The only problem was that there is a glitch in my navigation system but I called Jorge about it and he was very helpfu to get a wonderful car there. My experience at Smithtown Nissan was nothing but calm, relaxed, and pleasant. Craig Ammann was one of the most accommodating and genuine salesmen I have ever encountered. He was so flexible, and really had an innate drive to make a sale happen. He was not pushy at all. He knew exactly what he was doing, and was there to answer any questions along the way. After just a little over three hours, the sale was finalized and the brand new 2013 Nissan Sentra SL was ours. I am definitely coming back to Nissan of Smithtown for my 2014 Rogue next year! Thank you to everyone involved, especially Craig, for such a great car-buying experience. I will recommend you to everyone and anyone and will be back soon! :) More
I am giving a bad rating for the reason that I did not hear back promptly, and I never heard back after the last time I called. I went there on a Saturday to look at a car. When I called I was asked that hear back promptly, and I never heard back after the last time I called. I went there on a Saturday to look at a car. When I called I was asked that if I couldn't make the appointment on time to give a call ahead of time. So I arrived to the appointment on time. I decided to buy the car granted the payments worked out. They said since it was a Saturday I would have to wait until the banks were open on Monday to get results. I was told I would get a phone call Monday. Monday I waited until the afternoon and decided to call. When I called they said my sales rep Bob was busy and would call me back. He never did, so I called again around 3pm and got in touch with Bob and he said that finance would call me back. They never did. So I called back again for the 3rd time around 7pm, only to have the women at the desk sound annoyed that I was calling. I said if I didn't hear anything by the next day they could forget about any deal and I wanted my $100.00 back. 9am the next morning I got a phone call from Bob saying to come in. I ended up buying the 2012 Nissan, which I love. Though I realized when I got home after picking up the car that there were no car mats and no car manual book in the car. I called again and got a women who sounded annoyed yet again when I said my name. She said Bob would call me back. He never did. I gave up and decided that the car mats and manual were not worth the aggravation of dealing with this dealership. I love the car but the dealership was a bunch of idiots. If I'm told to make my "appointment" on time, and I'm there on time, than I expect to be called back when I'm told and not get an attitude from the women at the desk who picks up. NEVER AGAIN, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

I recently purchased my 2013 Nissan Altima on April 13, 2013. This is just one of the many vehicles i have purchased/leased through Smithtown Nissan over the past ten years. They always give the best deal and i never feel pressured or uncomfortable. Most of my dealings were with Joe Urso. What a guy! Honest, respectful, courteous, gentleman. He is very knowledgeable of all the vehicles he sells. All my family and friends always thank me for referring them to him. He leaves a great impression on everyone. And he always gets the deal done. I have never walked out of there without the best deal on a new nissan. Recently Joe was promoted to sales manager which was greatly deserved. What's better than having a honest guy with that much integrity taking care of your car buying process but to have him as the Sales Manager of the deal. That's even better. Which we all know really makes or breaks the deal! On my last deal Joe was just starting out in his new Sales Manager Position. When i heard i was really happy for him. But to be honest i thought wow i hope this don't effect my positive relationship with this dealership. He referred me to Bob Mitchell. All i can say is this guy was everything Joe was. When i left there with my Altima I felt like I was part of Bob's Family. Bob put together the deal and ran it past Joe and everything went smooth. I could of never purchased this car or any other Nissan for the deal Smithtown Nissan gave me. To sum this up if you are in the market for a Nissan you would be making a big mistake not to stop in Smithtown Nissan and give them a chance to show you the difference that sets them apart from the rest. And from my personal experience i highly recommend Bob Mitchell (Salesman) and Joe Urso.(Sales Manager) Give them a shot you will not regret it!!!!!! More
Bait and switch. Found a BMW 335i I was looking for called contacted Cheryl Pagano through Internet sales told her I was interested. The next day as I got ready to make the hour and 20 minute drive there I called Cheryl Pagano to ensure the car was available she didnt answer I sent an email and she responded with "OK great when you come in just ask for me. I do see that the car is still available for you. See you at 1:00pm if you are running either early or late just either call or email me" I arrived after the long drive she introduced yourself said she will get a salesperson the sales person came and asked what car I was there to see I told him he then told me the car was sold last week. You can imagine I went off on them. I just spent all that time driving, gas and toll money. She blamed the computer system for saying the car was there. It's a small dealer know what happens in your place of work. It was a horrible experience. Do not risk making a trip here if you see a car you like online More
