Salesman Jeff White was great, he treated us with respect and we were able to reach a deal with no pressure or hassle. However the finance dept was to aggressive in trying to get us to go with their financin and we were able to reach a deal with no pressure or hassle. Their interest rate matched what we had prearrainged with our credit union but we had not wish to use another financial instituion, we had to decline their offer several times before we were able to conclude the process. The price on their vehicle was not cheap it was at the top of the price range but they did give us a fair trade-in price. No steal but a good overall value. More
Buyers Beware: I purchased a 2013 Ford C-Max from Skyline Ford a couple of weeks ago. My wife and I love the car and have always been loyal Ford customers. The C-Max is a great new design for Ford and driving the car has been a fun experience! I wish I could say the same thing about the sales experience we had at Skyline Ford. It turned our whole buying experience sour. We purchased the car though a corporate discount program so it was hassel free and we believe we got it at a fair price. The kicker was the saleman told us and showed us a document that said we would be able to get a $3600 rebate on our taxes if we bought the C-Max before year end. That information convinced us to buy the car that day. A day later we found out the program ended in 2010 and the "document" turned out to be a magazine article from 2009. The salesman said that this is what management told them, and had given them the document to show buyers. He later called me and admitted that it was a mistake. The dealership did offer to buy back the car. We decided to keep the car. We like the C-Max and we like Ford products. I wish I could say the same for Skyline Ford. You would think in this day and age that sales tactics like that would not be used. We plan on buying another Ford product in January. It's too bad we won't be buying from Skyline Ford as we have always supported local businesses. Regards Wayne and Marcia Floyd More
I came in just to look at a Subaru on the lot. Phil was right there to help me and was very patient while I inspected all the SUV's (V6's) on the lot. After deciding I couldn't afford the Subaru I fell for a Ford Edge. It had what I wanted plus more. Phil let me test drive it and explained all the functions and features. I was very comfortable in this vehicle. Phil was again very patient and he and Octavio worked very hard to get me the payment I could afford. They also gave me a fair price on my trade in. Phil has continued to accommodate my needs with subsequent questions and service. Phil wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. I recommend Keizer Skyline and Phil McColly!! I had the pleasure of working with Phil McColly and Octavio when I purchased my Certified Pre-Owned 2010 Ford Escape last July from the Keizer Store. I had told Phil that I was interested in findin Octavio when I purchased my Certified Pre-Owned 2010 Ford Escape last July from the Keizer Store. I had told Phil that I was interested in finding an SUV that would be great for camping, but also had more room. When I arrived on the lot, I found two cars waiting for me and I test drove a Jeep and a Ford Escape. The Escape just felt so safe and handled very well, especially after driving the two cars back-to-back and being able to compare the two. Phil explained the features of both cars during our test drive and I felt very comfortable the duration of the test drive. The decision was obvious by the time that we returned from the test drive. The finance process was so easy AND quick--- Octavio worked very hard to get my monthly payment where I wanted it and was also able to get me a great interest rate. The delivery process of the vehicle was so smooth, I was comfortable with all of the gadgets in the car by the time I drove off the lot. The blue tooth would have taken me forever to figure out if it would not have been for Phil's patience; he even offered for me to call at any time if I had any questions on how the equipment worked or if I had any issues. I loved that they included my first oil change free and that I received several calls after my purchase to gain feedback on the buying process, it made me feel like the dealership really cared. I can't say enough good about our Salesman Dan Waldron on this purchase. As an unabashed "hater of all Salesmen" type, I found the whole process unbelievably pleasant. Dan shares a similar sarcastic sense of humor as I, so that made things a lot of fun thru the process. Being an engineer by trade I had tons of questions for Dan. I e-mailed him the next day with paragraph after paragraph of obscure questions about various specification and feature questions. He answered every one of my questions, and on many this required a fair bit of research on his part. He also let us take two different test drives (over two evenings) just so my wife and I to be sure our decision on our purchase: Our 1st ever new car or truck purchase as we have always purchased newer used rigs in the past. After we decided to buy, he diligently looked for a vehicle that met our needs and desires out of a dwindling supply of 2012 models, so we could take advantage of the good rebates currently available: We found a truck that met all of our needs except it did come with these really dorky cab roof lights ($55) and do we really need the $85 snowplow option?! The process of settling on a price was also as stress free as it could have been for a cheap-skate like myself contemplating a high dollar purchase: A bit of back and forth thru the day on e-mail and we were ready to go last night with very little to do but "sign on the dotted line". Perhaps I've been wrong all these years about salesmen....Nah....Working with Dan and the whole staff at Skyline was just a really great experience! More
