Very helpful and kind service! I thought I might have a bigger problem for a noise from the car, but it turned out to be a loose cover on the bottom of the car and they fixed it wi I thought I might have a bigger problem for a noise from the car, but it turned out to be a loose cover on the bottom of the car and they fixed it without even charging. They also checked the tires and anything else that could make noise. Very grateful for the help! More
Service started great until it came time to pick up my car. I presented a coupon which I was informed at the beginning would be honored after which it was not for a disappointing reason. I was given an estimate which the end work ended up being less and the service representative said that he couldn’t honor the coupon because I had already received a discount !! What ?! Will definitely not be coming back. More
I spent 36 years in the auto business in sales and finance, working with mostly the best people I've met in my entire life. I couldn't have imagined what my wife and I would go through with Shottenki finance, working with mostly the best people I've met in my entire life. I couldn't have imagined what my wife and I would go through with Shottenkirk Honda. The figures we were shown by text over the phone, and also again in the finance office, were not what was on the contract. How did they get away with that? By simply not giving us any paperwork. Instead, we were given a USB and told this was done to save paper. I took the USB to my mechanic so that he could look over the warranty which we were only considering at the time. The first thing our mechanic did was to ask us why we purchased a $350 "paint protection plan". Next he printed us some of the paperwork which we hadn't yet seen because we went straight to him. And there it was. The "paint protection plan" had been represented as licensing fees on their computer screen. We also tried to cancel our warranty the next day, as we were told that if we didn't want it all we had to do was to give them a call and they would immediately cancel it. They were willing to do no such thing. I had to call the warranty company myself, and that was also to no avail. Finally, I called our credit card company whose fraud department actually investigated the matter (wow!) and refused payment to them. We feel very lucky, and find it hard to believe Shottenkirk's tactics. More
