Buying the car was easy and painless, that has CHANGED!!!! I was contacted by someone from Toyota Dealership in Hamilton Twp. The lady called the Wednesday before Christmas which was IMPOSSIBLE for me to fit I was contacted by someone from Toyota Dealership in Hamilton Twp. The lady called the Wednesday before Christmas which was IMPOSSIBLE for me to fit any more into my schedule. I met with Richard Stas. He was very nice and had a real sense of humor. I stated someone called and wanted me to come in, but I doubted I would buy anything. As a matter of fact, I had to take my spare keys in that following Friday when I was off work. I stated at the time of purchase I did NOT want new tags. My license plates have been FUN-45P for probably 20 years, or close to it. I left with a new car that nite. The experience thus far was good. The Manager knew me from purchasing my first Toyota two years ago. He is always nice and comes over to chat with me whenever I go into that institution. I cannot remember his name. I finally got the postcard around the 20th to come and get my tags. I went in and they had new tags. I stated I did not want them and they seemed not to know what to do. The Manager I know saw me, came over and I told him the problem. He said, No Problem. We can fix this. He took the tags and I left feeling relieved, however, I knew that the tags would be outdated within a couple of days. They said if I got stopped just explain what happened and it should be OK. I heard nothing more until Wednesday morning, when I received a call from SOMEONE from the agency. Since I work nights, I was asleep and woken up, not thinking clearly, I neglected to get his name. He wanted me to stop in and fill out the registration form (after all this time) for the car. I said I would not be able to come in until after my shift was done at my second job at 3pm. I got there around 415pm yesterday. A gentleman I have seen around the dealership asked if he could help me, I explained the call and he said he would get a manager, which he did. I saw him about 420pm. I sat where he told me to sit from 420 until I saw another Manager (by manager I mean the people who handle the money end of the deal. He helped me this time I got my car.) I told him why I was there and who was supposed to be helping me. He went wherever he went then off to other customers. The person who was supposed to be helping me, walked down to the end of the dealership and was talking for 20 minutes to someone down there. I was really angry by this point as I had been at the dealership and in my opinion JERKED AROUND from 420 til 450pm. The "manager", came back and I blew up. Told him what I just told you and he knew I was mad. It was determined that NO ONE knew who called me or why. The Manager took my cell number and stated he would find out and call me tomorrow. At 845pm, my cell phone rang, waking me up yet again and it was the manager. He stated that Ron or Rich would help me and could I please come in tomorrow to straighten things out. I told him I would be in after work at 3pmish. I went in and Richard Stas, the person who sold me the car and I had not seen since the sale, was at his desk. At this point in time I am tired of this whole mess and not at all in good humor. I am usually upbeat and happy. He told me to please sit down and I told him no one knew about why I was there yesterday to which he flippantly replied, I have the paperwork and it has been here. It was a registration form for my old plates, which remain in my car. He said he was going to put the new tags he had on my car for now, until my tags come in. I asked when that would be and he looked at me and shrugged. After this whole fiasco, I have NO FAITH that I will get my old tags put on my new car. I have bought MANY cars over my 64 yrs on this earth and NEVER have I been treated as I have today and over these tags. I also know that new tags are more expensive than to transfer tags. I know that money is gone from me. Next time I need a car, I WILL NEVER BUY IT FROM TOYOTA!!!!! My last experience was really a good one. It is a shame!!!!! More

They called AGAIN! I ended up blocking the phone number from Shore Toyota. More
