My car totally broke down about seven o'clock Friday night January 28, 2011. We arranged for a tow truck and called Shore Toyota. Edwin Nunez answered the phone and was wonderful. He said that we should bring it to the dealership and he would take care of us. He was right there when we entered and told us exactly what to do. (It was 8:50PM by this time) The next day Lori Reynolds called and said that the mechanics were checking it out and that she would be in touch. She kept us up to date on everything. When we went down on Tuesday to get our renter vehicle, my husband just mentioned to Edwin Nunez that maybe he would look at a truck. Mr. Nunez was doing training for sales personal and introduced us to Eric Small. What a sales person! He knew everything about the extended cab Tacoma my husband thought he might like to purchase. My husband said he would like to look at a silver one and Eric said he would bring one up for my husband to see. He had my husband drive it and he bought it. My husband loves it and will continue to go to Shore Toyota. Lori Reynolds kept us informed throughout the repair of my Camry. The car is now fixed and we could not have asked for better service. Lori Reynolds is a wonderful, caring service manager, Edwin Nunez is a perfect, helpful, friendly manager and Eric Small is the best sales consultant we have ever had the pleasure to meet. My salesman Nelson Alvarez did a thorough job of explaining,demonstrating,and test driving my Scion XB. Nelson and the sales manager matched the payments to my financial needs. I was very pleased with my sales experience. I have never had a car salesman spend so much time talking about the product, rather than just trying to make a sale. Today (2/5) I had my Scion serviced. The service writers were polite and positive despite a high volume of service calls and shop traffic. Lori Reynolds waited on me, She was polite, congenial, and honest about the time it would take to complete the service. In addition, she updated me periodically so I was aware the XB's stage of completion within the service bay. The service print out listed all the sevices and check points, I am pleased to know the car will perform at a peak level. Lastly, the customer service cashier person Kathleen came out and made me a cup of coffee while I waited. She also showed a high level of friendliness and interest, making conversation, although she too, was very busy. On Monday, I will receive a follow up call on my service. I apperciate this gesture very much. I have owned both American and import vehicles but am very satisified qith Shore Toyota and the Toyota/Scion brand. More
I took my 2006 Avalon for a recall. Dave greeted my with a friendly smile and advised me it would take approximately 90min. I told him I was advised when I scheduled that it would take 1hr. I took my 2010 Corolla in for recall service for the second time. Not pleased about that. On the other hand, Chris Bounds, in service, not only took care of me, at once, he made the rest of my stay as second time. Not pleased about that. Chris was a "tech" so he knows his stuff, and will do his best to take care of whatever your car needs. Plus, he is patient and courteous. Thanks, Chris. See you in the next 5000 miles! Lori was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem with my car and explaining it to me. She was careful to help me control costs and gave me an accurate time estimate. Service representative (Laurie) and service technician (Jim) were great! Jim was concientious about letting me know that my next visit I will probably require some brake work. I indicated when I came in for my appointment that I only had two hours before I needed to pick up children from event and Laurie insured that I made it out in time with time to spare. She also checked my car for recall work and found out that I needed some - she indicated that it could be done within my time frame so it was. I really appreciate the thought with attention to my schedule and finances! Great job! P.S. Coffee, newspaper and television are always available to help make the wait not so painful! More
I have known Millard since the 90's at their Fire Rd. location. He is friendly, easy to talk to for service appointments. If your car needs extensive service he tells you up front and does'nt push, just location. He is friendly, easy to talk to for service appointments.
