I will never take my car there again. The service manager is quite condescending, they did not replace my battery although that was one of the things they were supposed to do, and every The service manager is quite condescending, they did not replace my battery although that was one of the things they were supposed to do, and every time I've picked my car up, something else is broken. This time it's the rear window defrost...worked just fine when I took it in, now it doesn't work at all. They told me my battery was fine after having told me a few weeks before it needed to be replaced. They charged me double the price I had been quoted for the work I did have done. When I objected, the service manager told me that "none of his guys gave me that price." Their service department is shady and although I probably would have bought my next car there, I will never spend another dime at Shields. Their service department cannot be trusted. More

The work was good but I took my car in at 8:30 AM, was told it would take about 2 hours and didn’t get it back until about 1:00 PM. Not a problem for me since I didn’t have any other plans that day, but i told it would take about 2 hours and didn’t get it back until about 1:00 PM. Not a problem for me since I didn’t have any other plans that day, but it could have caused problem for anyone with later plans or appointments. Maybe because it was a Monday? More
