He immediately contacted tallmadge and he has been getting the runaround ever since. They picked up his car a month ago and he still dosent have it back. We have tried contacting sales, service, general manager. Everyone has a different story for him about the car. Now we can't get return calls back to us. He lives in WV. He had to get a rental car which they were supposed to pay for, then they backed out saying they wouldn't pay for it. What this car dealership did was take advantage of a 73 yr old man and have done nothing to make it right except send us in circles trying to get his car back. Do not recommend this place in any way, shape, or form! Spend your money somewhere that they actually value your business. More
I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Serpentini Chevrolet. For weeks leading up to our visit, I was in contact with a salesperson, Noah, through multiple phone calls a experience with Serpentini Chevrolet. For weeks leading up to our visit, I was in contact with a salesperson, Noah, through multiple phone calls and text messages. During those conversations, I made it very clear that we would be driving over an hour each way to the dealership and wanted to confirm that the advertised lease deals were legitimate before making the trip. I asked repeatedly if the deal was real. I was told clearly that we were well qualified and could expect a lease on a Chevy Silverado around $1,699 down and $279/month. We even discussed another structure at $3,699 down and about $200/month. Based on those repeated assurances, we made the decision to come in. When we arrived on Thursday (3/26), we worked with Joey Frame. We again explained the deal we had confirmed with Noah and reminded them that we were coming from over an hour away and wanted to avoid unnecessary return trips. Joey indicated everything looked good. We then spent hours at the dealership test driving and going through the process. Joey told us he would get our paperwork started that same evening (Thursday) and follow up shortly. That never happened. Our paperwork was not started Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Instead, we were told everything would be handled Monday morning around 9am. On Monday, I called and texted Joey throughout the day specifically asking for the numbers before making the drive back. Again, I made it clear we were over an hour away and did not want to make another trip without knowing the details. He would not provide any numbers and insisted they weren’t available yet. We were ultimately told the figures had just become available minutes earlier—but only once we were already driving 60 miles back to the dealership. After all of that time, communication, and unnecessary travel, we were finally presented with a lease offer in the range of $700–$800 per month—nearly three times higher than what was clearly communicated to us beforehand. At no point did anyone proactively clarify that the original deal was unrealistic for our situation. Instead, we were repeatedly reassured over the course of weeks, encouraged to come in, delayed for days, and then required to return in person just to receive numbers that were nowhere close. This was not a minor difference or a misunderstanding—it was a complete breakdown in honesty and transparency. We spent approximately 6 hours of our time and drove roughly 250 miles total, all while the dealership knew exactly how far we were traveling and continued to assure us the deal was real. That level of disregard for a customer’s time is unacceptable. Proceed with extreme caution. More
This dealership is a complete RED FLAG. I bought a car from them, and the battery completely died on me 2 days after driving it off the lot. Serpentini of Tallmadge refused to fix it or com I bought a car from them, and the battery completely died on me 2 days after driving it off the lot. Serpentini of Tallmadge refused to fix it or compensate for it. I sent them the receipt as they requested, and they never followed through on their end. There has been a number of problems since i bought the car from them, and all i can say is they have caused nothing but stress.... I would strongly recommend to stay FAR AWAY FROM THEM AS POSSIBLE. Really wanted to make a deal. I went in after seeing exact vehicle i was looking for online with outstanding price. So i decide to pull trigger on purchase. Salesman tried up I went in after seeing exact vehicle i was looking for online with outstanding price. So i decide to pull trigger on purchase. Salesman tried upselling me on some things. But my bank usually offers similar products for less. I get my cash together and LOC from my bank to cover the rest. Keep in mind I've already made them aware that i have financing in place. They insist i let them run my credit to see if they can give me a better deal. But we all know you don't want 3 and 4 hits on your credit. So when is time to go the salesman sends paperwork for vehicle. But now the price is almost $7000 more than advertised. I have pics . So i ask the salesman what happened, he states that's only if you go through their (gmac) financing... I've never seen that but ok. I ask to speak with someone else he states that's their policy. If that's the case it should be stated but who misses out on a sell to go through someone else when money is already in motion. I don't like to hassle with salesmen. So a week later I'm still looking and see the same vehicle offered through another bank at original price. I don't like the dishonesty when there is no need to be. Just keep it real with people most of us understand. But raising the price 7000 is plain criminal. More

Spent 7 hours there on 11. 14.25 looking for a car after ours was totaled. The car we scheduled to see was "in the shop," and we were shown another car. Ironically, it was the c 14.25 looking for a car after ours was totaled. The car we scheduled to see was "in the shop," and we were shown another car. Ironically, it was the car I was looking at, and I talked my partner into test driving it. We weren't going to buy it at first; he was set on the other car. However, after some discussions, we decided to see if we qualified, and if so, we would get it. We pointed out some issues to Harrison we wanted resolved, one being vomit. He stated the car had only been on the lot a couple of days (this morning we found out from a Facebook post, they've had this car since October 13) so they hadn't had a chance to detail it, but assured us that once we started on paperwork, "the service department would be on it like clowns in a clown car; seriously, a whole bunch of them get in there and pull everything out and get it all cleaned up." After 7 hours of back and forth, we finally signed papers and left. It was late and dark. We were hungry and tired. When we got home, something made me look, and sure as xxxx, the vomit, spilled whatever, dirt... everything was still there. But this time it was late, and I was fuming. I already left feeling something was off; this just made me have 0 trust in our salesman and this dealership. In the last 5 years, we have purchased 3 cars from 3 dealerships, and this was by far our worst experience ever. More
Although I didn't end up purchasing here, my experience was very good. They have a great inventory, are willing to let you test out anything and also make good suggestions for vehicles to try. Had a 4:00 appointment to look at a car with intentions on buying it and brought cash. Driving an hour to get there so they said they would have it prepared. - Took an hour just to get someone to help on buying it and brought cash. Driving an hour to get there so they said they would have it prepared. - Took an hour just to get someone to help me. - Salesman brings me the wrong car to test drive. Maybe an honest mistake, not the biggest deal. - Wait another 10 or 15 minutes for him to bring the right car up. - He comes back and says “Sorry but this car has NO BRAKES, we can’t even sell it”. - So they had me book an appointment, Drive 1 Hour, Wait 1 Hour. Just for them to tell me they can’t even sell it because it isn’t drivable? Not exaggerating when I say this was the worst customer service I have ever seen. More
