Service to our Outback was fine and vehicle was ready earlier than their original estimate. We had received a $50 gift card a week or so before the maintenance. We forgot to use it and discovered it earlier than their original estimate. We had received a $50 gift card a week or so before the maintenance. We forgot to use it and discovered it at home the next day (a Friday). The following Monday I went to the dealer and asked for the gift card to be applied to our bill and give us credit on the credit card we used for payment. They declined saying it had to be used at the time of service. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! The gift card expires this June. I don’t foresee us bringing our Outback in for service for six months or more. Service representative was rude when I was explaining an issue with my vehicle. Noise was hard to explain and she was not very helpful. She looked at me like I was crazy. My husband came in week before and also had a bad experience. He was told they could not get a part for his car so he ordered the part himself and brought it in and then they didn't end up using the part. The issue could have been fixed when he originally brought the car in for maintenance. Loose confidence in service department. More
