As previously described to the Buick survey. I scheduled an oil change for my 2022 GMC diesel pick .(note this vehicle was purchased at Scranton) I arrived and was received by customer service. I scheduled an oil change for my 2022 GMC diesel pick .(note this vehicle was purchased at Scranton) I arrived and was received by customer service. I asked if they could top off the DEF as my light was on. The gentleman provided me an estimate close to $250 to manage the DEF. I declined that. As I picked up the vehicle, I asked why he would charge me 250 to top off the DEF. He explain that some people do not know about DEF and may put the DEF in the spout where the diesel fuel goes, I thought that was a little strange at the end of the day. I believe this was a very unsettling way of up-selling a customer, I would make sure that I warn anyone considering Scranton service to be cautious of this devious upsell .
