The customer service I got here from the Service department is the worst I’ve ever received from any kind of business. I’ve had repeated issues getting vehicles repaired for anything beyond the basi department is the worst I’ve ever received from any kind of business. I’ve had repeated issues getting vehicles repaired for anything beyond the basics and in one unique circumstance I feel like they didn’t stand by their work and then bullied me. I expressed my concerns to management, it took weeks for them to decided to not fix my vehicle (total estimated cost was $250), and ultimately I had to order the parts and repair the vehicle myself after I begged them to cut off a bolt they cemented during a prior “repair”. It was a humiliating experience, a nightmare to get my vehicle operational again, and I’m shocked how I was treated as a 5+ year customer. Special shoutout to manager John Rooney - We may not see eye to eye about the decisions that were made and as humans that’s absolutely ok, but bullying should never take place at any business. If you tell me the only thing you’ll do is to cut off the cemented bolt and then I show up hours later to get it cut off I shouldn’t have been told No when the service agent consulted you for guidance and I certainly should not have needed to beg for what was literally 1 minute of work you promised to do. Second special shoutout to the Parts department for being absolutely incredible and nothing at all like Service. This review deserves some kind of positivity and with Parts help I was able to order what I needed to do the work myself and for that I’m forever thankful. More
Had my 2019 CRV in for inspection today, 5/16/24. My service representative was Matt who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and kept me updated while I waited for my car to be completed. I find Scott Honda to be a great dealership. I’ve been using them for over 10 years, having leased several Accords and a CR-V from them, and purchasing my 2015 Accord and 2018 CR-V off of lease. Found them to be very friendly and easy to work with, both in the sales end and the service area. I continue to take my Hondas to Scott for service, even though I know that sometimes I can get it done at lower cost elsewhere, because I trust their work and thoroughness. I also own a Jeep purchased from a well known dealership in my region, but I do not take back to that dealership for service if I can help it. I do not have the same faith in that Jeep dealer service department that I have in Scott. I can highly recommend Scott Honda. More
I look my van in with a dashboard warning light. I googled it and all results indicated a problem with the battery, which we had just recently changed out. I told the service tech this when I dropp I googled it and all results indicated a problem with the battery, which we had just recently changed out. They claimed they hadn't seen this warning before and were unsure of what it was.. so they charged me $200 for an "evaluation" which I felt was fair. A few hours later they called to say they didn't think it was a battery problem, but would try cleaning the transmission (??) since they thought that would solve it. The 2 hour repair ended up taking TWO FULL DAYS, they added 30 miles to my car and cost more than $1000!! Fine, if it was fixed. NOPE. Within 36 hours the light was on again. They clearly had just "reset" the warning light and let the car go. So I called Honda Corporate. In fact, the warning light IS A BATTERY ISSUE. To say I am livid about the wasted $1000 is an understatement. I will NEVER EVER bring a car to the scam artists at Scott Honda. NEVER. More
