Please forgive the delay in making these comments as the Holidays and my health made my response later than I would have liked. The issue started sometime late in November of 2013. I talked to Mr. Alfred Zambrano, Service Writer at Scott Clark Nissan, 9215 South Blvd., Charlotte, NC. My wife and I have worked with Mr. Zambrano since we got the Nissan. He has always – always treated my wife and I with the utmost of friendliness and professional attention to our requests. In addition, my health is very poor and I will need some help in the future to make sure that the car maintenance is taken care of. I discussed this with Mr. Zambrano and I am very confident that he will insure that this request will be accomplished. I had the idea of installing after market front seat warmers in my wife’s 2010 Nissan Altama as a Christmas present. Mr. Zambrano and I agreed that December 23rd would be a good time for his installers and me to make this happen. I wrote a check at that time to Nissan and everything was set up. I made some lame excuses to my wife about getting the car serviced so that I could get the car in for the installation. I got to Nissan about 9:30am on the 23rd. At that time Mr. Zambrano was not available but another Service Writer met us and said that Mr. Zambrano had discussed our arrangement with him. Everything looked good! However, my wife asked the Service Writer how long it would take to get the service done. The Service Writer started by saying the after market installers were ready to take the seats out so it wouldn’t take long. Well, my wife told him that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the seats! This let the cat out of the bag – there went my Christmas surprise. However, this Service Writer did not know of the surprise. We left the car there and went on with our other errands. We picked up the car later that afternoon, drove straight home and parked it for four or five days. When I got back in the car I smelled cigarettes. Neither my wife nor I smoke. That’s when I found a cigarette butt on the passenger side in the front. I also realized that my garage door opener was missing and I really didn’t think that the seats were heating. At this time I was not too happy! So, we took the car back. I then talked to Mr. Zambrano. He stated that he was very sorry about the failed surprise, he would have the car completely detailed inside and out, he would get the seats checked and would replace the garage door opener if it could not be found. What more could I ask?? Mr. Zambrano asked when it would be convenient for me to leave the car with him for a day and offered a Nissan car during that time. I had my car so the Nissan car would not be necessary. At about noon I called Mr. Zambrano stating that I had found the garage opener and also apologized! My fault. Later in the afternoon I went to pick up the car. This is where we get into the purpose of these comments. Mr. Zambrano thanked me for letting him know about the opener. Then the car was brought out. Just as Mr. Zambrano said, the car was Clean – inside and out! He had the seats checked and adjusted according to specs. The Mr. Zambrano said that he had something for me. That something was the check that I had given him back in November, it was torn into four pieces! What a great surprise! I want you to know how much I appreciate the effort Mr. Zambrano made on my behalf. His friendliness, courtesy and professionalism will insure that we have all our maintenance done at Scott Clark Nissan. This was my first time ever at this dealership and to my surprise, it was nothing like I'd imagined. I went to look ONLY (you know how it normally is at a dealership) and wanted to be left alone until I was surprise, it was nothing like I'd imagined. Throughout my purchasing experience, everyone from Jacques, Dawud, DL, Brian, and Michael was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and worked diligently with me. They assured me that I'd be taken care of and indeed they did just that! Kudos to the Scott Clark Nissan team. Keep up the good work!! More
Scott Clark Nissan sold us a used car that was dangerous to drive and we couldn’t get our money back. Jacques Deadwiley sold us a used 2013 Ford Escape SEL without supplying the CARFAX or disclosing the co to drive and we couldn’t get our money back. Jacques Deadwiley sold us a used 2013 Ford Escape SEL without supplying the CARFAX or disclosing the condition of the car. They did not do a NC Safety Inspection and we found out later that the car had been wrecked twice, was a lease/rental car, and then sold twice at auction. Parts were held on with zip ties and had missing bolts. We would not have bought this car if we had known. We found out about the car’s history when bought our own CARFAX and we had the car checked out before our Christmas Day trip across the state to visit family. The Ford dealership mechanics said the car was unsafe to drive or even tow. Transport it back to the dealership that sold it to you on a flatbed truck. Matt Donovan called us 10 days later and with no repairs said the car was ready to pick up and was safe to drive. Water was standing in the floor board and the tire had a 3 inch gash. We refused possession of the car. Matt Donovan offered all of our money paid on a trade-in that was significantly more expensive or we could try to trade in our used Ford Escape somewhere else. They also offered a car that had only been wrecked once. They would not match prices on a new car with another dealer. They never offered our money back. We were forced to pay above MSRP with the Dealer Addendum in order to avoid being stuck with the wrecked car they sold us. Marty Abernathy could have cared less about our customer satisfaction or our prior bad experience in buying an unsafe car from his dealership. He was only concerned about the money the dealership lost on the transaction. Our experience with Scott Clark Nissan does not in any way represent the advertising that lead us to believe we were dealing with a company that treated its customers fairly. The reason for visiting this dealership was to just have my 2008 Maxima serviced. While sitting in the service waiting area, I was contemplating purchasing a new car. The timing worked perfectly because Jay my 2008 Maxima serviced. While sitting in the service waiting area, I was contemplating purchasing a new car. The timing worked perfectly because Jay Byrd approached me in a VERY PROFESSIONAL manner to ask if I was interested in purchasing a new car. He explained to me all of what was offered and how it could benefit me. I was a little reluctant, but Jay GAVE me REASSURANCE that my interest rate will be matched with my banking institution. I accepted to fill out the application. Once completed, Jay walked it over to Jacques. Jacques walked over to me to introduce himself and sat down with me to explain what he can offer. Jacques LISTENED to what I was looking for and the features I wanted. He said he would make sure I walked out of the dealership with a new car. Jacques actually DELIVERED BEYOND my EXPECTATION . I was EXTREMELY SATISFIED after signing my contract and walked out to my 2014 Maxima. Jay and Jacques EXPLAINED that Sandra will demonstrate how the features are operated. She did a THOROUGH and EXCEPTIONAL job with explaining features in DETAIL!. I left the lot a HIGHLY SATISFIED customer and GREATLY APPRECIATE the TEAMWORK Jay, Jacques, and Sandra showed me! These 3 individuals DESERVE to be HIGHLY AWARDED! I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND a friend and/or family member to these individuals and this dealership. More
Buying a car is usually a stressful experience, but from the moment that we sent the very first inquiry, everything was EXCEPTIONAL! We sent an inquiry about a 2013 Nissan Rogue that we were interested in. the moment that we sent the very first inquiry, everything was EXCEPTIONAL! We sent an inquiry about a 2013 Nissan Rogue that we were interested in. We submitted a pre-approval application and within 15 minutes Jay had called us and asked when we wanted to come in to test drive. We went in that night with our kids (16 months and 5), and there was ABSOLUTELY NO run around, no games. The entire staff was EXTREMELY professional, and even came over to entertain my 16 month old son. Although we were not very happy with our payment amount, we needed a second vehicle so we signed the papers. while we were signing, Brian Martin mentions that he would attempt to lower our payments, but due to the time the banks were already closed. Now what happens next really sets this dealership apart from ALL the rest! The very next day, Brian Martin calls my husband and states that he was able to LOWER our payment with a MUCH better interest rate and asks us to come back in to sign! WHAT?!?!?!?!?! I NEVER expected this! he could have just let us go with the EXTREMELY high interest rate, but instead he chose to maintain his integrity and called us back and lowered our payment significantly. This was by far the best experience that we have EVER had with any dealership! Thank you Jay Byrd, Brian Martin and Scott Clark Nissan..... We will DEFINITELY encourage family and friends to come here and will DEFINITELY be back! More

The car buying experience with Dawud was exceptional. The level of personal service that he provided was far beyond any that we have received anywhere else. Negotiation was minimal I have to say that this experience was the best that my wife and I have ever had buying a car. We felt as if we were the “Bomb Diggity” with Dawud’s personalized efforts In fact, we are much less likely to consider any other Dealership beside Scott Clark due to our experience with Dawud Muhammad.
