Our 18 year old MR-2 developed an engine problem late on a Saturday afternoo Once again your service department came to my rescue when I needed help. Our 18 year old MR-2 developed an engine problem late on a Saturday afternoon. I found out that the service area closes at 5 pm and is closed on Sundays. I spoke with Miguel in the service area and he was extremely helpful to us. He got the car in and had it diagnosed in a very short time. He told us that the needed parts had to be ordered and might take a couple of days to get. When I told him that I had to have my car for work, he loaned us a beautiful Camry to use until our car was finished. He also kept in touch with us and informed us of the progress on the repairs every step of the way. We have been loyal customers of Schaumburg Toyota since we bought a new Celica there in 1985. With outstanding customer service like we received, we will keep coming back. Thanks again! More

I suspected it was a starter due to the sympt Nicholas Cardin 2 reviews in the last week I had my 98 Land Cruiser towed in after it wouldn't start. I suspected it was a starter due to the symptoms exhibited. While speaking to the service manager (Randy) I explained that I was visiting family and needed to make a trip back to Ohio (wife and two kids under 3-years) and wanted to ensure the truck was safe to do so. I don't narmally allow my vehicles to be serviced by dealerships but had no other option given the circumstances. After two days I got a call that the only issue they found was a dead battery. Randy told me they inspected the starter, alternator, and associated electrical systems and could find nothing wrong. I agreed to a new battery and asked they do an oil change and top off the fluids. I picked up the truck first thing the following morning. The following day we left for home in Ohio. About 140 miles from home the battery light illuminated and the voltage was reading at about 10V. At that time I shut down all electrical components and proceeded to the nearest place that sold batteries. I bought two to get me back home. I replaced 1 immediately and had to install the next one 9 miles from home after the ABS system and fueling system started to shut down. Thanks to the stellar diagnostics and repair my family was almost stranded in 6* weather. Thanks guys! More
