I filled out the form on their website to see if they would buy my mother's 2012 RAV4. I received an email from their customer care specialist stating that they would buy her car and that the pre-owned m would buy my mother's 2012 RAV4. I received an email from their customer care specialist stating that they would buy her car and that the pre-owned manager would contact me to discuss the details. I never heard from him so I went by the dealership only to have them tell me that they are not looking to buy cars that old. I don't understand why they did not just state that upfront instead of completely wasting my time like that. I would not be so upset except this is the second time they've wasted my time this week. I went by the day before to have my TPMS light reset. It was still on when they gave me back my car. They said it would go away after driving it a while. It has not gone away, and my mother said that the technicians should know that it goes away immediately if it is done right (they did the four tires but missed inflating the spare which is usually the cause of the light) so now I have to go to Discount Tire to get it done right because Toyota decided to make the spare tire on this model year RAV4 impossible for normal people to unzip and take out. In sum, all of my experiences at Schaumburg Toyota have been made unnecessarily lousy and miserable in ways that a modicum of service and effort could have prevented. More

Clean, straightforward movement through the buying process. The dealer was pretty busy, with constant activity, but it was still easy to get through stages. The dealer took longer for steps than would be preferred, which was one of the worst parts of the transaction, but this could have been due to computer issues which caused some of the transaction to be done manually. Even during times where going through the transaction steps, Eric Pederson stayed with us during the process and explained any questions or concerns that we had. When we got the vehicle, Eric Pederson went with us through the different features of the vehicle and the services offered by Toyota, answering all questions and being very patient, and even though it was his day off he came in for five hours to help finish our transaction. Dealing with Eric Pederson was easy because he was straightforward and took time to ensure we were comfortable with everything. I would recommend anyone that wants a Toyota to go talk to Eric Pederson and ask whatever questions you need to be comfortable because he will take the time to answer. More
