First, I arrived could not pull into the service drop off bay because the car porters were wiping down cars they had just washed facing the wrong way in both sides of the car bays. I parked in back and walked in to take to a service writer. I had an appointment in which they were told ahead of time I needed a rental car. He took everything down and called enterprise for a car. After he gets off the phone he says they have no cars to rent. He proceeds to say that this has happened all week. I could have made my own arrangements for a car if I had known it was going to be a problem. He asked me to wait 30 minutes and maybe they will have something which they didn’t and I had to pay for someone to pick me up. The next day I picked up my car and they tried to charge me for warranty work till I said something. Then they brought my car out unwashed when they say it’s free with every service and I did have more than warranty work done. I drove to the front to give the car to a family member and I discovered they did not return the log but lock to the vehicle which they demand every time I bring it in. I went back in to get it and waited another 25 minutes before I talked to a 3rd service person who brought me the lock. I bought my last 2 Ford cars from them and had great service but over the last year everything has gone down greatly. I was in the market to buy another vehicle for my kid and we bought from another Ford dealership due to these problems. More

They advertise attractive online prices and slide in illegal fees and unsolicited made-up expenses at the time of purchase. The final before-tax price could easily go up to $2000-3000. Examples of some of the fees and unsolicited options that they add: ETCH $349.00 Government Fee $275.00 Seat protection wax $1200 Windshield package $499 ESP, WHEELZ, DRIVER CARE, CREDIT LIFE, and CERTIFIED CAR CARE My strong recommendation is to avoid this fraudulent dealership! We went to Schaumburg Ford dealership on Feb 27th to buy a 2018 Lexus NX advertised for $27750. After the test drive, Dennis came back with a quote, and I immediately noticed that $1200 is added to the price. He said it is the cost of applying wax on the seats to protect them. I rejected that $1200, and he said it is not possible to take this out. Then I insisted and mentioned I don't want the car if this is the case, and he took it off! Then we negotiated the price with Mr. Sam Hanash and agreed on $27250, and signed the quote. Our purchase was then sent to Mr. Alex Lebdeh (finance manager/scammer). He was aggressive and, rather than answering our questions, tried to intimidate us by raising his voice or yelling. Alex's final price was much higher than the agreed price, plus taxes and legal fees. Refer to the attached picture. From that list, documentation fees and taxes are legit, and all others are made up! When confronted, Alex was getting more and more aggressive, and his hands were shaking. Then Sam got involved and deducted $250 to cover the ETCH fee. After an hour, Alex called us and said your documents are ready. Surprisingly the overall cost went up even after the $250 price deduction. We wanted to check the official bill of sale, and Alex said all the other customers are waiting for me. You think I am lying to you; however, if I charge you even $1 extra for tax or fee, they will send me to jail. My biggest mistake: I trusted him for a second! We signed the bill and left the dealership! Later that day, we checked the bill of sale, and surprisingly the car's cash price was stated as $27848.00 rather than the $27250.0 agreed price (set aside that $250 discount). I called Sam (sales manager) he said $499 is added to the price for the windshield protection package, and if you don't want it, we can refund you! This is a joke! They never mentioned that, and we did not get any documents for that imaginary protection they charged us for. *This is obvious that they use this tactic on many customers with a well-written scenario! They pump up the price, and if the customer overlooks that, they make more profit. If someone catches that, they send a form and say it was a mistake, and we will refund you, which they never do! After several calls, Alex (finance manager) said that we will refund the money to the bank, but it takes 1-2 cycles (months) to see that reflected in your account. Update Saturday, May 8th, 2021: The money was not refunded to the bank! I stopped by the dealership and went to Alex's (scammer finance manager) office. He was insisting that they processed the refund. He said the person responsible for refunds is not at the dealership today, and I follow up and call you back on Monday! He never called back. More
