We leased a 2018 Jeep Compass from Brad, who has since left. Our lease came due and we wanted to lease a new Wrangler. I ended up working with a different salesman which did not go so well but when I called the manager, Charles Kyle, he assured me that he would work with me. He assigned a new salesman, Mark Vrancken who was awesome. Between Charles and Mark, they found me the perfect Wrangler which we drove home yesterday. I had a great experience and will definitely call Mark the next time we need a vehicle. More
From walking in at 6:20 PM knowing the dealership closes at 7 the staff was OUTSTANDING. He took his time getting me the information I needed as well as additional fun information about my new Wrangler. Evans worked quickly with the financing staff and they were able to get my dream car to financial budget. While completing paperwork with the sales manager Jim McCloy, it was welll after closing and again, I was not rushed- the he was so nice and helped us finish the paperwork while we were on the phone with the insurance company. He was very kind, respectful and patient. The paperwork process was a breeze with Sunset's tabletop signature/paperwork technology. I received a copy of all of my esignature documents on a flash drive! Since the service and detailing department was closed, Evans gave me the phone number for Tim the detailing manager and explained that I could call and make an appointment to have my car properly detailed and that they would set up a dealer car for me so I could drop off my Jeep and be able to come back for it after work. Evans made sure I knew how to work everything and gave me a rundown with the keys and said I could call or stop by with any questions. The whole buying process was painless! When I called Tim to set up the detailing appointment he was very accommodating and got me in at my specific date and time with no problems. The detailing department was great. They pulled the dealer car around, opened my doors for me and explained the key and how to dealer car works. When I picked up my Jeep that evening I was again greeted with great service. Again opened my car doors, complimented my new car, informed me where they had moved a few items in the car to and they did a great job with the detailing. Overall this was the best car buying process I've ever dealt with. Every staff member I have been in contact with showed the greatest customer service! The Sunset Jeep team went above and beyond and absolutely exceeded my expectations. More

I live at the very northern end of Pinellas County - and reached out the all of the dealers in Pinellas, Tampa and Hillsborough Counties through their web-based portals. they all wanted to sell me a car that they wanted to sell - at a higher price with add ons that I did not want or need. I also used True Car, Car Guru, Auto Trader and Edmunds as web-based search engines. Those web services are set up to market the dealerships inventories - with their search algorithms built around Jeep MSRP's associated to what those dealers were trying to push off their lots. Several of my friends have made the drive to Sunset Chevy and Cadillac to save thousands. I decided to look the Sunset Jeep and found the exact car package I was looking for. I acquired the Jeep Wrangler at a fair no-haggle price - made the 90 minute drive - walked into the dealership and drove out in less than 30 minutes. Bill Wagner made my drive worth while and made the entire process seamless. Bill Wagner is a seasoned salesperson with a can do persona. Jeep repeatedly won’t start, stranded. 3 times Jeep would not start. Took to service.3 other Jeeps had same problem. Could not find answer. Said it must be bad gas! No lab analysis of gas, no tests done, they just guessed. Chrysler is going down the drain and does not stand behind their product. In casual conversations in past week, talked to 2 other people with same problem. BE WARNED, SAVE THE AGGRAVATION and buy different manufacturer from different dealer. More

Jeep Service department is TERRIBLE!! I have never had a worse experience dealing with a service department. Specifically the jeep service department. I was told the diagnostic test would I have never had a worse experience dealing with a service department. Specifically the jeep service department. I was told the diagnostic test would only run $140 until I got a call a few hours later asking for another $280 because the test the ran was inconclusive. I was then told I need a brand new part and it is on back order. My jeep was stuck halfway taken apart and they were not able to give me any idea of how long my jeep would need to be in the shop. I was told I would get an update on the status of my jeep on the following Monday. I eventually gave up waiting around 4 pm and called in to ask about the part in question. The man who picked up was exceptionally rude and refused to give me his name when I asked for it. He then transferred my call to another department without letting me know. I am now paying to have my jeep fixed but they will not guarantee the part I am replacing will even fix my problem. They just say it "should" fix the problem but if it does not I will have to live with my check engine light on. TLDR; They want me to pay $1500 for a part that might not fix my jeep and they were exceptionally rude and unhelpful . I would avoid this place at ALL cost. I let most things slide but this is the worst I have ever been treated in regards to getting a vehicle serviced. More

I bought the car from my neighbor who bought it from Sunset Dodge on 3/13/2013 I purchased it with 5k miles. I had some warranty work done on it in 2015 . 2 weeks after the 5 year power train warranty expired with less than 100k miles. Dodge corporation and Sunset Dodge refused to help or honor there warranty. After owning and driving car for 40 years I have never had a transmission blow up after 5 years . Consider carefully your choice of buying a dodge they are poor quality and Dodge wont honor or offer any good faith. Even if it is a day after the warranty expires More
