We can’t authorize another facility to perform a repair that we’re able to handle ourselves, especially without verifying the work. Our factory-trained technicians follow strict procedures, and cross-threading a drain plug is very rare. We hope you understand why we request the vehicle be returned to our shop so we can properly assess the concern.
