They sold me a car knowing that the problem with my car had already been fixed. After I bought the car, it's tire blew out less than 2 miles from when I left the dealership with it. They tried to blame me for it, several times, saying that I hit a pothole or a nail. A nail would cause a flat tire, not a blowout. I have hit a pothole in the past that damaged a tire. There were no potholes on the stretch of interstate that I drove on after leaving the dealership. At that point I lost all faith in the dealership's integrity, and also I was worried that the car had other problems. I did not want to drive the car to Colorado so I asked for the sale to be canceled. It took a long time to convince the dealership that canceling the sale was the right course of action. I was informed the next day that the car had been fixed early the prior day, before I embarked on the effort to buy a different car. They were also going to go ahead with a $4,000 repair when they knew that they had repaired the car but did not tell me they had done so. More
