I would like to thank the sales, finance and special credit staff at San Leandro Chrysler Dodge Jeep for their assistance with my car purchase this past week. There were some circumstances beyond our c credit staff at San Leandro Chrysler Dodge Jeep for their assistance with my car purchase this past week. There were some circumstances beyond our control due to my co-buyer living in Jersey City, NJ temporarily, but my salesperson/credit whiz Anita, resolved all issues, answered all questions and had a selection of quality vehicles for me to choose from. The process started one week earlier with my initial internet inquiry, and that got the ball rolling very quickly. Anita e-mailed me immediately with a list of documents needed for the car purchase and kept in touch frequently to see my progress in gathering all that was needed. When I arrived at the dealership for my appointment, I had all the documents in hand, filled out the credit application and was given a wide choice of vehicles to choose from, based upon my budget. After about 10 minutes of physically checking out the cars, I chose a 2011 Kia Soul, top of the line and fully loaded model... Gas mileage was not shabby either! When we got back inside, it only took another 10 minutes to wait for the final numbers to get calculated, then it was on to finance to sign papers for my portion of the sale. Total time up to that point was 30 minutes! When salespersons at this dealership say "lemme talk to my mgr.", they really do and receive their answers quickly! After receiving congratulations on our new purchase I left very satisfied and treated with professionalism and not with anyone "beating around the bush" like other dealerships. Now for the good part showing dedication by the entire staff there... Since my co-buyer lives in New Jersey and was there "in absentia", their solution was to FedEx the application and documents to her in NJ, have her fill out her portion, then when the documents are received back in San Leandro, I'll get my call to pick our new purchase up! That's dedication and full willingness to go above and beyond the extra mile to assist their valuable customers! I give this dealership an A+, and for those who are credit challenged, they will not offer up lemons or jalopies... Just quality cars, new or used that will last for a long time! Thanks, San Leandro Chrysler Dodge and Jeep for helping me and my fiancee with our auto purchase!!! More
On 3/5/13 I spoke with online manager, Jerod Tenud, about the ad which was good through 3/7. We came to an agreement which was the MSRP minus the dealer discount minus the rebates plus the registrations fees the ad which was good through 3/7. We came to an agreement which was the MSRP minus the dealer discount minus the rebates plus the registrations fees and taxes. He said the price would be good through 3/7 as the advertised. I live an hour and a half away from this dealer so I told him I could not come that same day (3/5) and would most likely be able to come on 3/6 or 3/7. He told me he had both days off but we could still work the deal. I called him on 3/6/13 and told him I would like to come after I got off of work. He said he could not be there so he spoke with a colleague, Michael Vu, and told him the deal. I spoke with both of them and made my move to the dealership and agreed to meet the online manager's colleague to complete the deal. They had two R/Ts available I test drove them and chose the one I wanted. We started the paperwork but I told them before we make anymore moves and I sign for anything I wanted to make sure the price was right. The paperwork was brought to the assistant sales manager, Daniel Gutierrez, and I sat and waited for about 15 minutes before he came out. The whole time I'm wondering, "why is this taking so long?" Just give me the price and lets make this happen. He comes out and says in these exact words, "O.K. boss, here's the deal. We're off $600 dollars...if you had of come tomorrow we could have made this deal..." Wait...what? I asked him, did you mean If I had of come 'yesterday'. He goes O my bad I meant yesterday. Now at this point I'm already frustrated and I know he is full of S|-|!t but to make sure I'm understanding what he is saying I get a break down of his numbers. He tells me the reason for being off $600 bucks is because the ad was no longer good and it changed that day, 3/6. Little did he know I had a printed copy of the ad that I printed out on 3/5 and a copy of one I printed out that same day (3/6) just a couple of hours earlier before I made my move. We talk some more and I tell him blunt and firm give me the car for the price it should be or I'm gone. He goes back to talk with his G.M., Orlando Teixeira, and comes out fifteen minutes later with a COMPLETELY different ad than the one i had and says the ad was a misprint and how the ad changed that day and so much other B S. I cut him off by asking if the agreed price would happen and he said no. I left the dealership. I drove 2 hours to this dealership! They attempted a bait and switch! I was furious. I also did not mention Ive been in contact with this dealership several times before. I first spoke with Jerod on 2/15/13 he called me back a little after 7 pm and said we could my out-the-door price but i had to come that night. Keep in mind the dealership closes at 9pm and i stay 2 hours away. Furthermore, I needed to make arrangements to have someone drive my current vehicle back from the dealership. I told him I could not make it that night for those reasons but i could the next day. He promised to call me back the next day, never did. These guys are so full of crap. They haven't heard the last from me. More
Jeep GC Overland Summit 5.7L 2011 - Sales dept is OK, but the service department is very very minumum. Had to work with Jeep corp for rusted dempner, after month later, still not call from the service depar the service department is very very minumum. Had to work with Jeep corp for rusted dempner, after month later, still not call from the service department. Their comment is "it's normal." What I hate the most is their attitude and lack of not meeting the at least minumum. Four times I went in, never on time for anything, had to wait at least 1-2 hrs. Love how they treated old lady, who ended up crying... This was my second Jeep GC and it will be my last. More
