I had specific wants and when I found the vehicle that fit perfectly, Larry Lovejoy, and later Rob Wetmore, made the drive off day a totally positive experience. The wait for the car to be produced was worth it. Rob carefully went over what I needed to learn immediately in dealing with the "first delivery" and his proficiency inspired confidence . Larry's thoughts throughout and Kelly's easy closing process made it an entirely pleasant delivery. Highly recommend them. More
Mike Maliniak went out of his way to help my wife and I know what we were getting and feel comfortable buying a used car over the internet. To answer my questions he took some extra pictures and even a sho know what we were getting and feel comfortable buying a used car over the internet. To answer my questions he took some extra pictures and even a short test drive video. When the car arrived, it was just as Mike described it was even better than I imagined. We are very pleased with the value, the quality of the product, and Mike's help answering my questions and arranging the transaction. My recent service experience with Kinney Motors Audi service Department was excellent, Something I would seldom say about any dealerships service department. This visit started with several telephone conversations with Ms. Leslie Holland, Service Advisor. Ms. Leslie was most helpful in getting me exactly what I needed, and nothing more, that I did not want. She was on her scheduled day off when I arrived to have my vehicle serviced, but she had, as promised, filled in the Service Manager, (I did not get his name, but he was a very helpful, pleasant, and polite gentleman) and the other Service Advisor, Mr. Lynn Kratochvil. I arrived at the dealership early, as requested, so the automobile could cool before being serviced. The Service Manager, (sorry I didn't get his name) And Mr.Kratochvil, (another very pleasant gentleman) took my vehicle in for service, and made me feel welcome. Kinney Motors Audi/VW has a very clean, modern, and comfortable waiting area, which made it quite pleasant to relax while my vehicle was being serviced. While I was waiting, I had reason to make an inquiry with Mr. Chuck Kryston, In the parts department. Chuck proved to be very knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant as well, and I enjoyed a pleasant conversation with him. When my vehicle service and road test was finished, it received a comprehensive multi-point inspection, and a complimentary wash before it was returned to me. The technician that serviced my vehicle also took care of a leak in my windshield/headlight washer system at no extra charge .I wish that I'd learned his name as well, as his excellent work and extra care pleased me greatly. All in all, a great experience, and I'd highly recommend Kinney Motors Audi/VW Service Department to anyone. Thank You Kinney Motors. More
Had a great experience at Kinney. This was my third VW/Audi purchase experience but my first time with Kinney and they were fantastic. Larry was a tremendous help in finding me what I wanted in a car ( VW/Audi purchase experience but my first time with Kinney and they were fantastic. Larry was a tremendous help in finding me what I wanted in a car (Jetta sportwagen TDI). I felt 100% comfortable with the sale, financing and all correspondence leading up to the day of purchase. Tom was great to pick me up to get me to the dealership and was helpful in describing all the options in the car (prior dealership was never that thorough). Kelly was wonderful about the financing piece and gave me some good advice. In all, highly recommend this dealership and will return there again when I purchase my next car! More
Leslie Holland in the Service Department at Kinney Motors in Rutland, VT deserves recognition for utterly outstanding help. Since 2002 when I first bought a new Audi A4 sedan, then in 2005 for a new Audi in Rutland, VT deserves recognition for utterly outstanding help. Since 2002 when I first bought a new Audi A4 sedan, then in 2005 for a new Audi A4 Avant, then 2007 a new VW Passat 2.0T, and now with a 2011 VW Golf TDI, I have obviously appreciated and have returned to Kinney Motors three times to purchase new cars now; but my dealings with the Service Department since Leslie has been working there couldn't be any better. (Lynn, one of Leslie's co-workers, is also very helpful, but it seems Leslie is the person I have dealt with clearly the most.) Just this past Thursday/ May 30th, my son Bradley drove to Rutland from Lebanon, NH, a good 1 hour drive, for some recall work, and my accurate instructions getting there weren't that accurate. He phoned me saying he was lost and would be late; so I called Leslie, and she took the initiative to call and direct him to the dealership. Despite being 15 minutes late, Leslie helped him bide his time during he 90 minute wait, and at his young age, he said the whole experience couldn't have been any better. This wasn't a common concession on his part. Leslie's help at Kinney Motors is outstanding, and she deserves attention for this. I intend to return to Kinney Motors again to purchase future new cars; maybe even as soon as later this year to buy a Jetta Sportswagen for my wife. Bob Maxfield More
This dealership was ok, but the sales staff were beholden to the manager who was not upfront about trade in value. Ended up offering 1/4 of Bluebook and NADA values. Insisted to speak with manager and he sai to the manager who was not upfront about trade in value. Ended up offering 1/4 of Bluebook and NADA values. Insisted to speak with manager and he said "those websites aren't worth anything, the only value that matters is the person willing to give you money for your car." He knew I had driven from out of town and took advantage on the trade in value. Not what I expected from a "reputable" dealer. All that said, the rest of the (fearful) staff were helpful, but powerless before the almighty Larry. More
So, I live in Princeton, NJ and drove to Grafton, VT for a family wedding on Saturday. On Saturday morning I discovered that my 2010 Audi A4 had a rear, driver-side, flat tire. Grafton is a tiny, picturesqu a family wedding on Saturday. On Saturday morning I discovered that my 2010 Audi A4 had a rear, driver-side, flat tire. Grafton is a tiny, picturesque town surrounded by beautiful woods that protect it from things like Verizon cell service. The innkeepers at Grafton were kind enough to let me use their office phone and, I spent the next few hours calling tire dealers and auto shops in the surrounding towns searching for someone who had my car's tires in stock. As it turns out tires for the A4 Quattro are 'special'. No one had them in stock. So, now it's getting close to the time for the wedding ceremony, it's Saturday - no hope of finding a tire on a Sunday - and I had to be back in Princeton for Monday. Turns out that the nearest Audi dealer is in Rutland VT - 45 miles as the crow flies; more than an hour's drive through the mountains. I called and spoke with the wonderful Leslie Holland. The dealership was about to close for the day (2PM closing time on Saturday) but she listened to my tale of woe and put me on hold to a) check if the had the exotic tire in stock and b) to ask if one of the mechanics was willing to stay past closing time. When she came back on the line she said "yes" and "yes". I drove to Rutland on the 'doughnut', Leslie and Cliff (I think that was the mechanic's name) were waiting for me, replaced the tire and sent me on my way. I made it to the wedding just as the ceremony began. OK, maybe I wasn't properly dressed but I was there - thanks to the wonderful folks, Leslie and Cliff, at Kinney Motors in Rutland, VT. More
Always exceptionally friendly and excellent service. All service is explain in detail. Kinney Motors has gone above and beyond on numerous occasions to solve problems. Car always returned washed! I travel over an hour to use their service dept even though their is a dealership 15 minutes from my house. Love them! More
I first called Steve Young, the Audi service manager in order to discuss service for a recently purchased used Audi A4. He was thoughtful, responsive and very professional. Upon arrival for my appointment Leslie Holland presented as my service adviser. I found her to competent and supportive of all my service needs. When we found that parts were needed that weren't on hand, I was given a loaner for the 4 days it took to get the parts in and to complete the service. Kinney was completely supportive and professional. More
