I bought certified preowned which has mileage of only 3500. Couple of hours after I picked up. It disabled. I had to call assistance and did jumpstart. Found what we wanted online but it was in transit. Got in touch with a salesperson and went from there. When the right car came up, we were ready to talk numbers. Before wasting time (ours or theirs), we asked if it’s possible to get an estimate for our trade with pictures and vin as is normal at almost all dealerships. They said nope, we have to come in. We drove the 30 minutes to the dealership, ended up sitting and filling out paperwork for an hour (with a toddler in tow) waiting for a trade in offer, only to be given an extreme low ball offer with no budge from them, so we walked and drove 30 min back home. Do I care that we were low balled? No. I just have a huge problem with the lack of respect this dealership has making people waste hours of their time just to receive a trade offer. How about you start running your dealership like it’s 2022 and allow preliminary offers online. Then we would’ve known that this dealership was out. Now, I won’t set foot in this dealership or another Hyundai/Genesis. Thanks for wasting 2+ hours of my time, time from my husbands workday, and making my toddler run around a construction zone. More
