I spent a good amount of time researching cars and the wife and I took a couple days going to dealerships. We were looking between the Ford escape, Subaru Forester and Mazda CX-5. We made tradeoff for eac wife and I took a couple days going to dealerships. We were looking between the Ford escape, Subaru Forester and Mazda CX-5. We made tradeoff for each and knew what we were willing to pay for each vehicle (and entertained the idea of getting a 2013 model if it came down to it). The CX-5 through our research was the top car if we could get the right price. We went to 4 Mazda dealerships in total (with one of those visits having a very bad experience with the sales manager) and we got a price from each of these dealerships. We found a listing of Rosenthal Mazda and due to our busy day I could only deal with them over phone calls ( the 4 dealerships we dealt with were in a 150 mile radius...) Throughout the day I was on the phone with Vitaly at Rosenthal Mazda. He was extremely responsive and he found us the car with color we were looking for in their inventory (not the one in the listing). We negotiated over a few phone calls and once we got to a certain price I agreed to come in person (I understand that sometimes dealers do whatever they can to get you in) When we arrived (15 minutes before the dealership closed) he already had the car out front waiting for us to test drive. He went over the important features of the car and let the wife and I take a decently long test drive to let us both get a feel for the car in different driving environments (again the dealership was close to closing and we weren't getting rushed at all). When we got back from the test drive the dealership was 15 minutes past closing but the team stayed with us and again did not rush us. Patiently answered our questions and even did another round of negotiating with us (starting with the price they offered over the phone, so no trick there). We agreed on the price (and got a very fair price for our trade in). Off to the finance manager. My wife and I put up our walls and were ready for a barrage of "extras" to be pushed onto us by the finance manager. As expected, he put their extended warranties and other protections on the table but unexpected, when we were saying no to these products he was not pushy. The longest part of the whole process seemed to be getting our insurance transferred (which is not on Rosenthal at all). All done with the finance manager. Now is the part where we are rushed out the door since the money has been given right? Wrong. Vitaly took time to make sure we have all the documents we needed, made sure we had a good experience and then went over more features with us (and important parts of the manual). Then after this, he took us out to our car (which while we were inside with the finance manager, they took it through the car wash and cleaned the interior even more (new car so barely dirty anyway but cleaned the carpets of anything from test drives)). He went over important things for our drive home (like where the gas door level was, where certain indicators were and what they meant, etc.). Lastly, he helped us move things from the old car to the new one and helped us comb it over for anything under seats and such. He even helped us take a picture with our old car. It is now 2 and a half hours after closing and he is asking if there is anything more he could help with. Vitaly is the type of customer service I appreciate. (and we appreciate the rest of the team at Rosenthal Mazda for not skimping on service even though we were the only customers left in there and closing was long past). After some rough parts of the day, when the wife and I left Rosenthal, we were happy with what we got. More

I went in to look at the new CX-5. They didn't have the color I wanted, but I test drove the one they had on the lot. The salesman was very very pushy about trying to get me to buy the car right then. Pric color I wanted, but I test drove the one they had on the lot. The salesman was very very pushy about trying to get me to buy the car right then. Price was absolutely horrible, first quote was several hundred OVER MSRP! In addition, the salesman was NOT knowledgeable about the car. He gave me two answers which I know to absolutely be false. I was very disappointed. If they had given me a reasonable price, I might have been tempted to buy the car because I definitely loved it, but combined with everything else that I know now, I am very glad I moved on. I ended up buying the car (in the color I desired) from a different dealer for $1500 less than the price offered by this dealer (comparing OTD prices). I recommend you take your business elsewhere. Excellent experience. No pressure. They Listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. Didn't come to buy a car but left with an excellent deal. Did not feel pressured at all. Most of my de honest and professional in there work. They have a good selection of cars to pick from and are very up to date with there technology. Most of my dealing were done over the internet so all I had to do was go in and approve the car test drive and drive away. Good doing business with Rosenthal Arlington Mazda. More
Horrible Horrible and Horrible. I went to test drive Horrible Horrible and Horrible. I went to test drive and he was against taking the vehicle on highway. Okay fine. I told him that I am buying it in Horrible Horrible and Horrible. I went to test drive and he was against taking the vehicle on highway. Okay fine. I told him that I am buying it in 2 days. He called to tell me that he will match any price and beat by $250. So I went 2nd time to get the car with my checkbook. I said lets first talk money but they wont talk that. They kept on wanting me to look at all the car options. Okay, finally we picked a car. Now talk money. I show them the quote from TrueCar.com. Then the real fun starts. They make me wait for like 30 mins. Then come back and gives me a quote which is like $1500 higher than what I have. We are like this is ridiculous. You are not matching or beating but wants $1500 more? So I start to leave. Then he is like wait for 10 mins. I will take care of it. Again 10 mins and they come back with same quote and tell me about how Truecar.com quote is scam and all. I am like this is xxxxxxxx. If you dont want to match the quote then why wasted my 2 hrs of time. Very unprofessional. The manager was outright rude. Tells me that he cant sell me car at loss and truecar is sham and I will go back to him. I will kill myself before buying from these rude folks. Needless to say that on the same night I bought the car from Heritage Mazda, at the price they quoted without any issues and with great customer service. DONT EVER GO TO THIS DEALER. HE IS THERE TO RIP YOU OFF. More
First time have used this dealer. They were not really pushy, gave us a good amount of facts to decide from, and worked with us to find the exact car we wanted. Elizabeth had to then work very hard to act pushy, gave us a good amount of facts to decide from, and worked with us to find the exact car we wanted. Elizabeth had to then work very hard to actually obtain this vehicle for us (they're not readily available right now). Their initial price for my trade-in was definitely low, but they matched a Carmax quote I had without question. They also matched price quotes from other dealers, with a minimum of fuss. Financing, paperwork, and "getting out the door" all went very smoothly. Overall, I'd recommend Rosenthal Mazda. More
SOOOO Helpful knowing I'm not buying!! I am buying a used car from an auction. The Carfax report said the auction purchased the car from Rosenthal Mazda. I called the service dept to find out what their i car from an auction. The Carfax report said the auction purchased the car from Rosenthal Mazda. I called the service dept to find out what their inspection revealed about the car. Eddie answered and his voice sounded so pleasant and relaxed that I felt certain he would be helpful even though HE DIDN'T HAVE TO help me at all since the car was no longer their inventory. In the business world we consumers are always being told in writing and verbally (often rudely) that businesses don't have to do x,y and z. Its an attitude of "too bad for you consumers, we did ONLY what we have to and nothing more (to win your business or recommendation)" I would like to recognize Rosenthal Mazda's employee Eddie who showed me that some decent employees still go above and beyond. I hope Rosenthal and other companies listen and realize that THAT is how you get recommendations. THAT is how you get future customers and return customers!!! More
Salesman was okay, not pushy at all, but not very knowledgeable on the car though. Kinda nice to talk to. Manager was a shyster though. I went in with some price research, and when we tried to ta knowledgeable on the car though. Kinda nice to talk to. Manager was a shyster though. I went in with some price research, and when we tried to talk about price, all he did was shift the taxes, delivery fees, and other nonsense fees around. It felt like he thought I was mentally handicaped. All of this was hand written on different scraps of paper, so hard to keep track. He said, for example, 22000. Then 21500 plus 200 taxes and 300 delivery. Then more, then less, included some floormates, then didn't. It was ridiculous. I smiled and nodded and left. Ha, and 700 for trade in worth at least 3500 according to Kelly Blue Book. On the way out, I got them to print out a best and final offer for the car, and the price was at least $500-1000 more than what I've seen at other dealers. More
