When I bought my Mazda I went with Rosenthal because of the offer of the lifetime complimentary oil changes and safety inspections. This was the main reason why I purchased my car from the dealership. I contacted the other Rosenthals dealerships in the area and now they are saying the Mazda Nissan was not part of Rosenthal they just used the name, so they will not honor anything. I have the paperwork to show this to both companies but they are just ignoring me. I now would not trust neither Rosenthal nor Priority at all. More

First time client; Shaun Fauz made it easy! Came in this morning for the first time and have to say it was a great experience. Online appointment system was way more functional than other dealer Came in this morning for the first time and have to say it was a great experience. Online appointment system was way more functional than other dealers. Shaun got me checked in, verified my concerns, and went over open bulletins with me all within 10 minutes. At 0700, he was awake and ready to go! He set my expectations properly, made me feel valued, and most of all-- was respectful of my time. Would recommend any in the area to trust Shaun to earn their business! More
Do not buy a used car from them, if you go here at all I would stay far away from this dealership, especially if you were interested in a used car in their inventory. I tested out a very nice 2011 Chevy I would stay far away from this dealership, especially if you were interested in a used car in their inventory. I tested out a very nice 2011 Chevy Camaro. On the day I visited, it had rained with a continuous light drizzle, so I was unable to fully test the sunroof. I purchase the car, and the first two times I use the sunroof, there's a loud popping sound when the panel closed. On the third time, the plastic deflector bar cracked, and the sunroof does not close all the way. This was less than 48 hours into owning the car. I return to the dealership, show them the problem, and they offer to put duct tape (!) on the roof until Monday so they can take a look. I also had wanted to get the Cilajet paint sealant applied then as well. I drop the car off Monday, and the Used Car manager calls me and says that the car is out of warranty, and to take it to a Chevy Dealership. That I was on my own. After some complaining, the manager spoke with the general manager to 'authorize' $300 credit once I get the sunroof fixed myself. I take the car to a Chevy service center, and it's going to cost $1900 to fix the sunroof. The used car manager Alex's explanation of 'this is a used car and these things happen' was absolutely no comfort to me and was, frankly, a slap in the face. I have no direct way of proving it, but I have difficulty believing they were entirely unaware of the issue with the sunroof. I spoke to the finance manager Mike the day I took the car back to the dealership, and he said he doubted they even took a look at the sunroof at all. These people do not care about you or your satisfaction. They want your money, and they want to unload whatever problems they would fix if they showed any concern about standing behind their product to you. I expected to be treated like a human being, and for them to have any measure of integrity. Again, do not make the mistake I made of going to this dealership and thinking they were a reputable business. Should you run into any sort of problem with your car that should have been identified and resolved prior to the actual sale, you will be on your own and they will not care about you at all. I was told that they 'do the best they can' to inspect their cars before selling them. They will be more than happy to pass the cost of their failure to inspect on to you. More
Buyer beware, dealer has no regard for customer service I started my search by putting in my inquiry with TrueCar on the upcoming 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata and Rosenthal was one of the first dealers to respond I started my search by putting in my inquiry with TrueCar on the upcoming 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata and Rosenthal was one of the first dealers to respond {they also happen to be closest to my house]. I immediately start talking with Ron Pattison, who didn't even bother to call me. All I get are a few one sentence emails telling me to come in and leave a deposit. I immediately email him back saying I would be happy to come in and do so, assuming they match my TrueCar price since they are a TrueCar certified dealer. The salesman immediately tells me they will not and are selling them at sticker. I get it, it's an all new model for 2016, and if TrueCar says I have to pay sticker, I would have. However, the other competing dealers all told me they would match the TrueCar quote and when I told Ron, he didn't proceed to address that at all, and simply told me that "We own the vehicles and can price them however we want." I have never been treated with such disrespect and after looking at the reviews here, I shouldn't have even considered them. Buyers beware, this dealer cares way too much about capitalizing on ignorant walk-in clients and being greedy. I will be notifying TrueCar of their bad business tactics. Don't bother wasting your time here, I tried speaking with the sales manager about the situation, he said he would have the general manager contact me, but never followed up. More
Dealer Processing Fee Kills Deal Virginia auto dealers in the DC area insist upon tacking on a "dealer processing fee" of nearly $700. This is not mandated by law, as some will tell Virginia auto dealers in the DC area insist upon tacking on a "dealer processing fee" of nearly $700. This is not mandated by law, as some will tell you. This comes after negotiating a price and is nothing more than added profit for the dealer. Some others include in addition a "destination fee." These fees together can add more $1000 to the price, after the customer thinks he or she has settled on a price. This is shameless deception, despite the obscure signs on the dealer wall that says "dealer processing fee" and names the amount. Maryland limits such a fee. There is no such limit in Virginia law. We walked away from a deal we made at Rosenthal because they added the fee and refused to remove it. We bought a better car for less at a friendlier dealership out of state and away from the DC area. We located on-line the cars we wanted to look at and accomplished this in a day. The savings and experience was well worth the travel costs. More
Great Experience at Rosenthal Mazda thanks to Erwin Simbulan I went in to look at and possibly buy the new 2016 Mazda CX-5. As I went in, I was introduced to Erwin Simbulan. I have never come across a salesman so patient, pleasant and professional. He patiently listened to what I needed, he was very knowledgeable and spend a great amount of time walking me through the features of the car. I was very impressed. I also met their Sales Manager, Muhammed Derindag and Deido who were all very pleasant to interact with. After a couple of trips to the dealership and test drives, they not only helped me narrow down to the car color and specifications that I wanted, but also at a price I was looking at. In all, my experience at Rosenthal Arlington Mazda has been great. Great customer service and great selection of cars. I highly recommend you pay a visit to them if you are looking at buying a car and definitely do ask for Erwin Simbulan. More

Jerry Silva took us on a couple test drives to help find exactly what we were looking for. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable on each model and made the entire process go smoothly from start to finish. Mohammed Derindag was also a wonderful help and really left us feeling confident with our decision to go with Rosenthal Mazda. I highly recommend checking them out. More

The Element was a clean good looking car that had just been inspected, when he got it home, I noticed a noise in the back wheel, as it turned out the brake pads were worn out, so we had them replaced. While the mechanic was doing that he noticed the Struts were also worn out, and very rusty, so now at a cost of $500.00 now we have to replace those. I called the dealership 3 times and was never called back, I finally called the sales manager who was very nice, he apologized for the pads and struts. Also my husband purchased the extended warranty, he was explained the different types. He decided on the platinum plan, when he got home we noticed the Gold plan was marked, called the next day and was told just mark out the gold and mark platinum, when I called the warranty company, we have the gold. My temp registration runs out on Friday April 11th and I still do not have the permanent one. More
No matter what, do not trade your car in at Rosenthal Mazda in Arlington. They quoted me $3,000 below what other dealers did. I sold elsewhere and used check for payment. They'll give you some song and d Mazda in Arlington. They quoted me $3,000 below what other dealers did. I sold elsewhere and used check for payment. They'll give you some song and dance about wholesale, auction, anything to justify paying you FAR below your car's market value. Just don't do it, or you're throwing money away. I experienced this with a trade-in and also another car sale quote. Also, if you aren't financing through them, don't let them make you fill out their credit application, which I guarantee they will try to make you do, saying that they need to prove who you are. They have your driver's license. That's all they need. Don't believe whatever Homeland Security BS they throw at you. It's not true and just meant to scare you into doing it. They'll then just run your credit (I suppose so they can see how hard to sell you on their financing, even if you have your own or want to pay for car outright), and bring your score down in the process. Many dealers try this stunt, by the way. Just be aware of what you're doing when buying a vehicle in the DC area. There are some great dealers and some not great. This is one of the not greats. More
