What started as a service station and small dealership in 1923 has grown to become the Roesch Cars of today. So, who are we? We’re glad you asked. Roesch Cars is a fourth-generation family-owned dealer that believes doing good business is simple. If you’re honest, you hire great people, and you offer competitive pricing and large selection, you keep customers coming back for 90 years and counting.
Where We Started
Back when Paul Roesch first started his DeSoto dealership, chances are that he couldn’t imagine the way it would grow. The accomplishment we think he’d be most proud of is that his own family has continued the dream he started more than 90 years ago.
Paul’s son, Larry, a lifelong resident of Elmhurst, began working at the dealership in 1952 while taking accounting and business law courses at night. In 1963, Roesch Motors incorporated and became Elmhurst Chrysler Plymouth, quickly becoming the leading Chrysler Plymouth dealership in the country.
Where We Are Now
In 2011, Dan Roesch added Roesch Ford 333 W. Grand in Bensenville to the family as well as a dedicated Commercial Vehicle Department for Ford Trucks and Vans at 303 W. Grand to complete the package.
In 2020, despite Covid-19, we have expanded to employ over 90 employees with 31 service bays and 18 commercial truck bays. We pride ourselves on customer service and were recently awarded
“The Fix-It-Right-The-First-Time” trophy from Ford Motor Co. for the 5th time in two years which is now a record amongst the 22 dealers in the region.

Of course, our Roesch family not only shares the business, but a passion for cars as well. In fact, we consider ourselves car enthusiasts – from vintage beauties to modern muscle cars and beyond – and have a deep understanding and appreciation of just how important buying and owning a vehicle can be. Great service, bought the car for my son before the holidays. After three weeks the car wouldn't start, figured it was the battery but wanted to make sure. Went to Roesch Ford for the Works Service Package for my 2015 Ford Focus. The service was quick and I was out of there in just a little over an hour. However, about a week later as I was driving on the high 2015 Ford Focus. The service was quick and I was out of there in just a little over an hour. However, about a week later as I was driving on the highway, I notice a thumping noise that sounds like a piece of metal/rubber was rapidly banging against the underside of my car. I immediately took it to the nearest service center (a local independent mechanic, not Ford) and to our surprise, they found that the bottom engine cover (at the undercarriage of the car) was coming loose, and only held on by two (2) screws out of the (6). The (4) other screws were no where to be found. The mechanic explained that there should be no way these screws should have come loose by themselves, and the only explanation is that someone unscrewed them and forgot to screw them back on. I hate to point fingers, but all the evidence points to the Roesch Ford Mechanics carelessly unscrewing the bolts and forgetting to screw them back on when they were working on my car a week prior. On the other hand, if the Roesch mechanics did NOT tamper with the engine cover, they should have at least noticed the loose/missing screws during their inspection of the vehicle!! Either way, I think Roesch mechanics were careless and not paying enough attention. They should have either a.) noticed the loose bottom cover piece dangling when performing the Works Service Package inspection, or b.) had they needed to remove the cover to inspect the underside, they should have remembered to screw the screws back in. Also, at the end of the Works Package, the inspection report showed there was "engine oil leaking". When I asked Diego Carrillo (my service rep) where the leak was coming from, he said he didn't know. I asked him to ask the actual technician, and he refused, saying "he is busy right now". I told him to check with him once the technician is free, but it took several days for him to respond and countless back and fourth phone calls to Roesch to get an answer. More

I had a 7:30 appt for an oil change and did not get out until 9:30. If you don’t have enough mechanics, make less appointments. Came in for an oil change, which was completed extremely quickly. An issue with us never having transferred the warranty over from my in-laws was brought to our attention. Waited too long for recall part. Had to call dealership for parts arrival constantly. Was given 2 different parts included explanation.
