Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Cant begin to explain how clueless these people are. I had nothing but issues from the time I dropped my truck off. My back up camera needed to be replaced so I made appointment and dropped truck off. They NEVER call you abt status so I called...they said truck is finished but having issues getting in touch with Zurich abt the warranty. I called back 4 hours later and said yall are about to close havent heard back. Same old run around so I go to pick my truck up 20 mins before closing and the technician havent heard anything. I told him my deductible was $200 bc we called when I was in there couple weeks prior to Glynn Smith in Opelika where I bought truck. They were able to look up in the system within minutes. Im standind there for 20 mins telling the guy to just call Glynn Smith bc Zurich had him on hold literally all day. So couple mins before closing he finally calls Glynn Smith and boom what do you know...they were able to tell him. They wont listen AT ALL. Not to mention when I go to drop my truck off this same guy says he will be with me in a few minutes while im standing there listening to him talk about fishing and other nonsense to someone. I finally say can I just drop my truck off thats all I need. Yet im still told to hold on a min. I think he knew I was about to lose my cool so he finally ends this small talk with his buddy and helps me. You got to be kidding. So all of this and come to find out that after making arrangements to pick my truck up they either didnt install the camera correctly or at all bc it still doesn't work. I drive back up there and catch them before they closed shop and asked the guy did they even inspect or check to see if it was working and the guy "with a straight face" says yeah I maybe should have checked it out but I didnt. REALLY???? So now they want me to inconvenience myself AGAIN bc of their complete lack of accountability and work effort. Had a bad experience the 1st time when I brought truck for recall and gave them another chance. This second time I almost lost my xxxx after holding my truck all xxxx day bc they didnt do what I told them to find out QUICKLY abt my warranty deductible. Then for it not to even be installed. They are lying hustlers trying to sell you on everything else but doing what you brought vehicle in for. I will be posting reviews on all social media platforms going into even further detail about how clueless and unprofessional the SERVICE dept is in Columbus Ga. The absolute worst experience I have had in any customer service setting by a mile. More
I was in for several services but was told they couldn't get to all of them and I expected that but the service guy didn't inform me of anything while I was waiting and when he comes to get me then he tells get to all of them and I expected that but the service guy didn't inform me of anything while I was waiting and when he comes to get me then he tells me I need brake pads all around my truck so I said to do them. But that kept me there from 7:30am until 2:15pm . He could have told all of this while my truck was on the rack the first time instead of having to go through the wait process all over again. I'm thinking about servicing my truck somewhere else and I been coming here for over 20 years. When scheduling an appointment when you choose a service person you make sure that person is there or give the customer an option. Because I don't want to deal with this person again maybe they was having a bad day. Fix it please! More

I come here often for regular maintenance, even when I schedule an appointment and am there prior to the time it takes a VERY long time to get even just an oil change complete, I'm not talking about just schedule an appointment and am there prior to the time it takes a VERY long time to get even just an oil change complete, I'm not talking about just the inspection I'm referring to the time it even takes to get my vehicle in the bay. Most recent maintenance time was not an issue y'all did well I was in and out in an hour and a half. But I didn't get an update on my phone (and still haven't) about my vehicle being serviced, just got called up with no update on my inspection or when my vehicle was put into a bay. More
Predatory, Disrespectful, and Dishonest Experience I went to Rivertown Buick GMC with one simple goal: buy out my lease. What should have been a straightforward transaction turned into one of the most unprofessional and predatory dealership experiences I have ever had. They tacked on thousands of dollars in unnecessary fees, inflating the cost of the vehicle to over $3,000 more than it is actually worth. Fees were added with vague explanations, and every attempt to question them was brushed off or met with attitude. The worst part was the finance office. When we clearly and politely declined extended warranties, the finance employee became hostile. He threw a pen across the table, mocked us, and said, “What, you think the car will never break down? Or you’ll never need to fix it?” Once it was clear we would not buy into their extended warranty upsell and he would not earn more commission, his demeanor completely changed. He treated us like garbage, would barely look at us, and rushed through the rest of the paperwork with clear resentment. To make matters worse, Rivertown Buick GMC charged us an additional and completely unnecessary $1,158.15 in TAVT tax, despite us clearly explaining that we are a military family, and that the vehicle was already titled and registered in Florida with no plans to change that. We made this clear from the beginning. They did not care and added the tax anyway. This dealership operates on pressure, intimidation, and misinformation. Once they realize you are an informed buyer who will not fall for warranty or fee scams, their customer service disappears entirely. If you value honesty, respect, or basic professionalism, avoid Rivertown Buick GMC at all costs. Buying out a lease should not feel like a battle, and no customer deserves to be mocked or disrespected for saying no. More
