Dealer did not repair Ranger according to Ford TSB ("to avoid repeated repair, replace housing") while under warranty and temp control failed again very quickly, but warranty had expired. Dealer repaired avoid repeated repair, replace housing") while under warranty and temp control failed again very quickly, but warranty had expired. Dealer repaired correctly 2nd time (but only after I provided copy of TSB). It took 2+ weeks and over $750. Dealer initially said Ford would cover cost, but that did not happen. I contacted Ford and dealer, but neither has gotten back to me after more than two weeks. More
I had some problems with my truck downshifting while driving and losing all power so I took it to Riverside Ford which turned out to be a worse problem than the truck breaking. The problem ended up bein driving and losing all power so I took it to Riverside Ford which turned out to be a worse problem than the truck breaking. The problem ended up being a recall on my Truck that turned into a whole ordeal. The recall was for a transmission issue that needed a part that had to be shipped from their supplier. While we were waiting on the part the dealer stated “They didn’t have any loaner vehicles available for me to use that it would be a first come basis, that was fine but the category that the recall was under qualified for me to get a rental vehicle that would be paid for by corporate Ford and not any money out of the dealers pocket. The only requirement was for them to fill out a COPIS ticket and submit it to corporate. I ended up calling corporate Ford multiple times to see what was going on with the rental process since I did not have a vehicle. Corporate Ford looked into it and a COPIS ticket was never filled out. This went on back and forth of me trying to be the middle man and do Riverside Ford job for them basically so that I could get a vehicle to drive. This ended with me having to do a 3 way call with corporate and the dealership. Corporate didn’t understand why I was never given a vehicle. When put on the spot, by corporate, Riverside Ford kept saying “we don’t have a loaner we told him that already and we don’t pay for rentals.” That’s when the lady at corporate had to break it down to them that if they just did their job and filled out a COPIS ticket that they would get me a rental. The lady at corporate stayed on the phone and told them “I will wait until you fill out the ticket.” That’s when they stated “They never did a ticket and didn’t know how to do one.” (That should be very concerning that they don’t know how to do their job and this was the advisor and manager in the same room sounding dumbfounded on how to even do a simple ticket.) It took 2 to 3 weeks for them to finally do their job correctly and for me to get a rental car. Then every couple of weeks I would call to try to get an update. Good luck getting anyone on the phone. They would never answer the phone and they may or may not give you a call back. My truck went in for repair on November 1, 2022 and finally got fixed on March 23, 2023. I had discussed with my advisor about them possibly making it “right” a few months into this process and he stated “We will get it detailed for you.” Later, around the 5 month mark of it being in the shop, with many calls to them and corporate. I asked for possibly an oil change for my troubles. Which he stated “I will look into it, but I don’t see why not.” This all ended up being just fluff that they were telling me every time I got upset at them for not doing their job. At the end of this process they had let my truck sit for so long my battery had died to which they made me buy a battery just so that it could crank to get off the lot. Then, my advisor called me and bragged that he was going to get my truck detailed for me and make it look pretty. (Which looked to be driving it near the cheapest carwash they could find not even putting it through the car wash.) They also left my interior dirty and covered with grease. The service department is absolutely horrible and I do not recommend taking your vehicle here to get worked on, they have lied from the beginning of this whole process all the way to the end. If the service department is this crooked and shady I’d be very hesitant to buy anything from the sales department because sales is where dealers really try to “rip” you off. Attached are photos of the interior they left covered in grease after the “detail” they were proud of. If they took as much pride in doing their job as they do trying to rip you off and weasel their way out of being held accountable they may do alright. More

They tried to charge ADVT even though I told them a thousand times the vehicle wouldn’t be registered in GA. They finally removed it after I called the state of GA myself. Once terms were finally negotiated, I set a time ato pick it up. They called me a few hours before I was supposed to drive 5 hours to get it to tell me there was a recall and it couldn’t leave. A few days later the salesman was supposed to meet me halfway to deliver my vehicle. I got there and he was a no show. Finally got a call from the manager who said he would write me a check for $500 if I came to pick up at the dealership. I went, finalized paperwork in a hurry and had to rush out to beat a hailstorm. Never saw the manager, never got a check. They also used my ford points for prepaid service without my knowledge and refuse to refund me. When I finally saw the truck dry and washed it myself (because they delivered with multiple stickers on the windows, windshield, bumpers, etc…) I found multiple scratches. For an 80k vehicle, I really expected better. More
