I had been there a few times before finally purchasing my car, and I never felt any pressure, annoyed, etc. This is something that's very hard to come by these days, as I would intentionally avoid certain dealerships if I felt they were too overwhelming. They were VERY fair regarding the final price of my car, and it looked beautiful the day I picked it up. Joe Passalacqua was the salesman who worked with me, and he is the top reason I give Riverhead Bay VW such a high review. He was kind, honest, he didn't "bother" me while I was looking, took the time to discuss anything and everything I wanted to, and I never felt a bit of pressure. On the day of pick up, he went over every single gadget & feature my vehicle has- he couldn't have spent more time showing me everything. A perfect example of his honesty- he dissuaded me on purchasing a particular model which was MUCH more expensive than what I ended up purchasing, because of a personal concern I had brought up to him. He could have very easily said " yes, you'll be fine!" like most salesman would. When I'm ready for my next VW in a few years, I don't even need to think about where I'll be going and who I'll be asking for. I'd this recommend this dealership to anyone/everyone. :-) More

great experience ! My fiancé and I were looking to buy a new Jeep. We searched online & were interested in the liberty and the patriot. Our plan was to start in riverhea My fiancé and I were looking to buy a new Jeep. We searched online & were interested in the liberty and the patriot. Our plan was to start in riverhead, check out patchogue, and finish in port jeff and have a nice dinner near the water. the plan was to test drive and see what each dealership had to offer. With so many dealerships on LI we were unsure of what to expect at each one. We started at riverhead bay motors.. and let me just say that was the first & last dealership we went to! We saw 2 jeeps available in the parking lot.. one a Liberty & one patriot (ironic right?). As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile by Kevin. He asked us to have a seat & wanted to find out more about what we were looking for. He took us outside to view the two jeeps & recommend we test drive. I drove the Jeep Liberty first, as for both vehicles he took us on a 15 minute test drive through back roads to really get a feel for the vehicle. During the test drive we were able to find out a little more about kevin. Kevin was very knowledgeable on the vehicles we were testing (even though they are a Subaru/VW dealer) and he told us a little about his family. We also learned that kevin commutes a decent way to work because of the honesty and integrity of riverhead bay motors. He talked so highly of the employees and the dealership. I've been to many dealerships in the past & none compared to our experience at riverhead bay motors. It just so happened that the liberty had everything we were looking for & more! Kevin took us inside to fill out paper work & was able to get us approved and ready to drive out in no time! I honestly believe that the connection he created with us was the most important factor. He's a family man & a great guy.. he is genuine & authentic and if it wasn't for their employees we would not have purchased a perfect Jeep Liberty ! We want to thank all of you & Kevin we hope you had a great vacation!! you deserve it ! We will be back the next time we decide to buy a vehicle ! More
