He explained it to me every step of the way. Being a senior , I could have easily have been taken advantage of, but Bill was honest, straight forward and trustworthy. I leased my first VW from him! Leasing a new car from Riverhead Bay VW is easy I leased a VW Golf GTI from Riverhead Bay Motors in September 2015 and could not be more satisfied with the whole process from test drive to signing t I leased a VW Golf GTI from Riverhead Bay Motors in September 2015 and could not be more satisfied with the whole process from test drive to signing the lease. I wholeheartedly recommend this dealer and in particular the people most involved with my lease: Bill Brienza (sales) and Jeff Lewis (finance). What follows is a summary of my experience. - I called ahead to ensure the car I had found on their website was still available. The sales person (Bill Brienza) was very careful to make sure it was really in the lot so as not to waste my time. - Upon arriving at the dealer I met with Bill who immediately fetched the exact car I wanted and I got to take it for a test drive. Many dealers will let you drive for 5 minutes around the block, but Bill directed me along an extensive drive encompassing a motorway, winding back roads etc. - Back at the dealer Bill looked up the particulars for the length of lease I wanted, gave me the figures along with ALL the details (including rebates, residual, money factor, purchase price, etc) on how he arrived at those numbers. I stress how highly unusual this is - most dealers will hide the details from you even when you outright ask for them. - With all the numbers in hand I went home (without being pressured into signing on the spot as most dealers will try to do), thought about it and called back the next day with a counter offer (based on a fair purchase price from KBB.com) and Bill immediately accepted it. - The finance department (Jeff Lewis) contacted me promptly and I emailed over some documents to start off the process. Jeff competently handled the financing (emailing a few extra questions here and there) and a few days later I went by the dealer to sign some papers and pick up my new car. - Before driving off Bill demonstrated all the functionality of the car and he also paired my tablet over the car's bluetooth so that I could listen to my own music. The whole process couldn't be simpler. More
