REAL REVIEW - Ok I came in a few months ago and bought a car. The car had issues the was not know to me or the dealership. I was mad. I’m mean I walk away from the old car without liability and into a brand new car with almost the exact payments. It’s hard to find dealers that honors customer service and integrity. My husband and I both purchased cars at the same time, but in different dealerships. While my husband had a great and easy going experience, I will say that by far this was the most frustrating experience but in different dealerships. While my husband had a great and easy going experience, I will say that by far this was the most frustrating experience yet buying a car. This was my first experience buying a car at Rick Hendrick, and last.. I chose a Tahoe from the lot of cars that were not ready to be sold yet, with the help of the sweet sales man Terry. He assured me that the car would go through an $800 detailed clean and would be clean, like new (which did not happen). So far I was pleased, up to when I got into the finances department. Claudio was the gentleman helping me. He was VERY pushy, and once I denied an extra fee for oil change and extra insurance, he changed his demeanor, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable about buying that car, as he repeated multiple times as I signed the paper work, “By signing this, you are stating you understand this car is YOUR PROBLEM…”, “once you are out here, we have NO responsibility with what happens to this vehicle…” In fact, all of this statements were understood, but I could not help but to think that I was purchasing a PROBLEM. Also, I left without the car, because it still had to go through cleaning, which made me very uncomfortable, as I was scared that something would be done to the car I just purchased and became FULLY responsible for. Few days later, my husband and I went to pick up the car as we were told, it was ready. I was very disappointed that the car was not cleaned as I was promised. There was bug marks on the outside, makeup on the steering wheel, panel, mirror, food and makeup stains throughout the ceiling liner, trash under the back seats, food stain at the carpet, and acrylic scratches at the handles. Another sales man who was outside, took pictures of everything I saw, and told me to go talk to Claudio. With indifference, Claudio told me that the car would go through the cleaning process again, but that there is only so much that could be done, since I purchased a used car. I was fuming, and sure cried as I waited so frustrated. A lot of what I addressed was taking care of the second time it was cleaned. I just decided to have detailed somewhere else, since the stains were still there… that should have never happened… Not over… While my husband was driving his car already with his permanent tag on, I noticed that mine had been expired since Jan 15. My husband got in touch with Rick Hendrick. Feb1 I receive a letter saying that I am responsible for the tag transfer, saying that I had to go to the tag office to have it done. Just took a day off from work, and got it taken care off. Well, I will have to say that it was not a pleasant experience. Although, I should be happy to drive such a beautiful car, I can’t help but to have bad feelings about purchasing it. Hope costumer service can see this message, and better prepare staff to provide a great experience, so costumers can come back. At the end of it all, I did not just bought a burger at a cheap fast food chain to leave this upset. Every costumer should leave Rick Hendrick happy to enjoy their purchase, which unfortunately was not what happened to me. More
