When I was in for warranty service and an oil change I was told I needed to have my brakes replaced on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 24550 miles. The cost was well over $1000. I declined the addition was told I needed to have my brakes replaced on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 24550 miles. The cost was well over $1000. I declined the additional service since it seemed VERY early. Today I took a wheel off to replace the pads myself (rotors are fine) to find that in 24k miles I have only used 1.51mm out of the 12mm. The pad material thickness is still 10.49mm! I now do not trust their service department to give me honest information at all. This was a clear and blatant attempt to profit from unnecessary parts and labor charges. I wonder how many customers they have scammed prior to me with unnecessary auto maintenance and repair? I will NEVER go to this Jeep Chrysler Dodge service department again and will tell anyone else not to either. DISHONEST auto service recommendations for profit! This was FAR from a little upselling. This is lying to your customers! More
My visit for recall service was done professionally. Breanna was very courteous & helpful in handling my concerns & in helping to schedule a future repair for warranty work. I was still standing @ the service writer’s desk when Jeremy read the results of the analysis codes describing the technical issues of my car. He then quoted an estimate of charges. He asked if I was dro Jeremy read the results of the analysis codes describing the technical issues of my car. He then quoted an estimate of charges. He asked if I was dropping the car off & I replied I wanted to wait. But after about 1-1/2 hours I was informed that my car would require an additional 3 hours of labor to isolate & would have to be held for a week to finish evaluating & repairing the issue. So the cost to me would be approximately $800.00 unless my extended warranty would cover it. This is unacceptable to me. In my opinion, it appears to be a strategy to gouge me or Chrysler Corp. to allow the dealership to maintain a bottom line while sales are declining. I am okay with the charges to me for initial analysis but I shouldn’t have had to wait to hear the service department inflate a simple electronic problem that could have been corrected into a crisis. The time that was wasted would also require me to be without personal transportation for a week. More
We went in to look at a 2019 Nissan Rogue hybrid as I had been looking for one for a while. I originally was supposed to work with Andrea but when I got there, we ended up with Brittany. She was very nice an been looking for one for a while. I originally was supposed to work with Andrea but when I got there, we ended up with Brittany. She was very nice and not pushy which I greatly appreciate in a car salesperson. She did not seem very knowledgeable about this car in particular, which I was understanding about since she wasn't who we were originally working with. Nonetheless, I decided to trade in my car and purchase this one after a wonderful test drive. The lot manager was incredibly friendly and also not pushy. He offered up a lot of advice that I appreciated and they were forthcoming about any add on costs up front. I worked with Joe in the finance department and he was also wonderful and answered all of my questions. My problems began the next day when I noticed a bubble in a tire. I called the dealership and left a message, no one called me back. I called again and got hung up on. I called a third time and was snapped at and told to just bring the car in. I mentioned I lived 2 hours away and asked if I could go to a neighboring dealership. Apparently that wasn't possible. But I finally got back in touch with Brittany and she said I could just bring the tire up on the rim and they would mount a new tire so I didn't have to risk driving the car up there and the tire blowing. She said it would be 1-2 days for the tire to come in, this was on Tuesday. By Friday I hadn't heard anything and she messaged me again that night to ask me what size my tires are so that they could order one...3 days later! I was very fortunate because I had access to one of my parents cars or else I would have had to miss half a week of work due to this. Needless to say, I was frustrated. Saturday afternoon she let's me know the tire is in and I tell her I will be there in a few hours to get it fixed. Arranged for a babysitter and drove up there. The service center told me they wouldn't be able to help me because they were almost closed and didn't have any time to mount the tire. I told them I had just driven 2 hours because i was told it could be done today. Thank goodness the service counter worker pulled a tech to mount the tire really quick, it took maybe 20 minutes. In summary if you're going to buy a car here, make sure you do a thorough test drive and check everything before you leave the lot to make sure you've coordinated any work needing done. The people I worked with were very friendly but my experience was just ok. Not the best. More
