Jorge, you are already completely aware of and have been an ongoing part of this problem. "Kia has been known to have issues with piston oil rings, particularly in certain model years of the Kia Soul and Seltos, where the rings may not have been properly heat-treated during manufacturing, leading to excessive oil consumption and potential engine damage; this issue has resulted in a recall affecting these vehicles." Kia has had a recall regarding this very issue that has been ongoing for almost the past decade, but the recall does not fix the issue, and there is nothing that Kia, or Regal Kia is going to do about it. Please do your research before buying a Kia, and (whatever you do) if you have a problem, do not take it to Regal Kia!!!
