Dealer of the Year? Hasn't Been My Experience. When buying a new car, I expect outstanding service. Perhaps my expectations are unreasonable compared to most, but spending 30 grand, I expect a lot When buying a new car, I expect outstanding service. Perhaps my expectations are unreasonable compared to most, but spending 30 grand, I expect a lot. I don't think Randy Kuehl delivered an outstanding experience in my case. Average at best and that may be generous. I essentially purchased (leased) my vehicle through the internet. Worked with a lot of dealerships and personnel throughout my shopping experience. While my salesman was plenty friendly, he was not particularly helpful. I felt I had to do all the heavy lifting and had to ask many of my questions more than once to get an answer, and even then, the answer wasn't always complete, which forced me to ask more questions. Is this a big deal? Perhaps not, but with the other 7-8 dealerships I worked with, I did not have to work as hard as did with this Randy Kuehl salesman. I went with Randy Kuehl because it offered me the best price/deal. I negotiated a remote start and a cargo tray as part of my deal. It's now a month after delivery, and I still DONT HAVE my remote start or my cargo tray. At the time of the delivery, these two negotiated items didn't appear on the "items owed me" form by the dealership. My salesman was literally handing over the keys to my new vehicle, when I said, "Where's the remote start and the cargo tray?" My salesman looked at me dumbfounded and asked, "Was it on the items owed me form?" No it was not. But why wasn't it Mr. Salesman? Isn't that YOUR job? During our negotiations, my salesman certainly gave me the impression that I would have these items on my car when it was delivered. To its credit, Randy Kuehl did correct the "items owed me" form and told me that I would be getting a call from the service department to schedule the remote start within a few days. The call never came. After about a week, I contacted my salesman. He said they are about three weeks out. After waiting a month, I contacted my salesman again. He said somebody called and left a message a couple of weeks ago and that I should call the service department and schedule an appointment. I call did not come my way. But lets assume it did. Wouldn't outstanding service dictate a follow up call if they hadn't heard from me in 2-3 weeks since placing their supposed phone call? Remember, Randy Kuehl also owed me a cargo tray. My salesman said in the same email as the remote start, "the tray wouldn't be a problem." What does that mean? Am I supposed to do something? Is he bringing it by my house? It's been over a month and I don't have my tray? Why? Why isn't Randy Kuehl making this happen? Why am I having to work so hard to get the items that are owed to me? I did make an appointment today to have the remote start installed. It will be June 8 -- a good six weeks after I took delivery. RIDICULOUS. The very next morning following delivery of my car, Honda provided a $500 incentive for new leases. I immediately contacted my salesman to see if I could get this deal. I felt it was the least Randy Kuehl could do since it mishandled the delivery of my vehicle. When all said and done, Randy Kuehl paid my first month payment (which is good), which was something, but not the $500. Interestingly, I would not have taken delivery when I did (and would have gotten the leasing incentive) if Randy Kuehl was up front with me about my delivery (items owed me). All in all, it hasn't been a great experience, not even close, and certainly not an experience one would expect from a so called "dealer of the year." Extremely disappointed in the dealership, but I do like my car! FOLLOW UP -- June 6, 2016 I receive a phone call that the plates for new vehicle were in. (Randy Kuehl puts the plates on the vehicle for you.) I also emailed my salesman to see if I needed to see him personally or just stop by. I also asked him if I could pick up my cargo tray when I picked up the plates. He said that wouldn't be a problem. Well, it was a problem. My salesman wasn't there when my wife stopped by. Somebody did help her and found the plates on my salesman's desk. The cargo tray became the issue. The salesman had no record or note on his desk or in the computer system somewhere. The dealership had no idea about the tray. My wife was sent back to the parts section of the dealership and tried to work with the gentleman there who tried to find something in the system. So what should have been a 10 minute stop turned out to be most of my wife's lunch hour for a cargo tray that should have been put in the vehicle at the time of delivery. Salesman at the time said it had to be ordered. Okay, why didn't I get a call when it was in -- once again why did I have to do all the heavy lifting. By the way, I get my remote start, finally, on June 8 (I think. That's when it is scheduled.) seven weeks after delivery. WHAT A JOKE. More

The check engine light came on a few days before my family's schedule vacation. Since this is the vehicle we are taking on vacation, I called Randy Kuehl Honda to see if they would be able to check out my Pilot before our vacation. When I spoke to the Service Team member Chris, he got my vehicle in the very same day I called. The Service Team was so kind and helpful. They were able to diagnose the problem and replaced the part the very same day. I am so grateful to Chris and the Service Team at Randy Kuehl Honda for getting my car in right away and fixing the issue. HUGE THANK YOU to Chris and the Service Team for getting my vehicle in so quickly and fixing the broken part. I can rest easy knowing my car is safe and ready for our vacation. More

Excellent service for my Ridgeline! Two reviews: 1. Needed to replace the hood bug shield. Took Ridgeline in Friday around 4:00PM to see what cost of replacement would be. Joel quoted Two reviews: 1. Needed to replace the hood bug shield. Took Ridgeline in Friday around 4:00PM to see what cost of replacement would be. Joel quoted me a price less than if I did the replacement myself...a no brainer! Joel said bring the truck back the next morning (Saturday) and he would R&R the part. I did, he did, and the job was done in 20 minutes! Thanks, Joel!! 2. Had the 15000 mile service done on my Ridgeline. Dropped it off at 9:00AM and it was done by 11:00AM! Staff & technicians helpful with all questions. Preliminary service cost very close, no surprises!! Thanks. Word of praise for the service department at Randy Kuehl's...they have always provided the best, most professional service of anywhere around. It is one of the main reasons to buy from them. More
