I didn't actually commit to buying a car until May. He never pushed me on my visits to make a purchase or decide what to do. We just would talk about options until I finally decided to buy our new pilot. We had to wait a few months before the car arrived on the lot, but Trent was sure to keep us updated almost every week with a status and what to expect. He was great through the whole process. He was friendly and informative and very easy to work with. He spent considerable time making sure we were comfortable with some of the main features of the car before we drove off the lot. He showed us the nice features of each car that we were interested, let us test drive them, and answered our questions. In the end, we decided to buy the 2016 Honda FIT for its many new features at an affordable price. From price negotiation to finalizing the car financing deal, they treated us with professionalism. Monday AM Appt.--Picked up Friday My vehicle was brought in for a pre-scheduled work. I scheduled the appointment with Mason. Parts were communicated to me that they were ready and t My vehicle was brought in for a pre-scheduled work. I scheduled the appointment with Mason. Parts were communicated to me that they were ready and that the issue was known. They had to replace a faulty rear main seal that they had installed in May. This rear main seal needs to cure for 24 hrs after application. So, I would expect that since I brought it in before work Monday AM that I should have the vehicle available Tuesday before close of business. I can live with that. Instead, when I stopped by on Tuesday lunch-time to pick up a notebook out of the vehicle for my wife and asked Jon about the progress on the vehicle (which was sitting in the lot), I was informed that the he had no idea of the progress on the vehicle, since the tech was out on lunch. He promised that he'd call me that afternoon to give me an update on my vehicle. He didn't. On Wednesday afternoon, I called the service department and asked about my vehicle. Same guy told me that they were short-handed due to a service tech that had been in the hospital since the weekend. Also that there was a specific tool that was needed to complete my job that was being used by another tech on the vehicle they were servicing. It was possible that the tool would come available Wednesday afternoon late or Thursday am. But no commitment as to when the vehicle would be available. On Thursday afternoon, I called again(!) to ask about the status of my vehicle. Lo and behold, the tool was STILL in use by another tech to complete that job. The tool should become available soon, but no commitment as to when I could pick up my vehicle. Possibly Friday, probably Monday, but no commitments. This is when I called Paul Thulin the Service Manager to escalate. Paul listened to me, took my information and called me back by the end of the day. My vehicle was ready before noon on Friday. 1. I understand that people get injured, etc, shorthanded...Then call me and let me know if I want to re-schedule. 2. I was offered a temporary vehicle. That's not the point, I wanted communication regarding my vehicle. 3. I don't want to have to initiate the contact on understanding what is the situation with my vehicle, my perception was that they didn't care about getting my vehicle to me. 4. This one particular critical tool was completely consumed by 1 other vehicle for 2 days? 5. Initiate the communication with me, don't make me wonder and guess and then finally have to initiate the call. In conclusion, they are the only Honda dealer within 30 miles, so kind of have the market locked up. I felt as though I was a captive customer and they knew it and took advantage of me over it. I am an avid Honda fan, but this experience makes me want to look for another brand. More

I know that it is his job to sell me a vehicle, but at no time did I feel any pressure to do so. They did not have the HR-V on the lot that I wanted because of color, the dealership had no problem looking for one at another dealership. We are pleased with both Tim Carson and our new HR-V Honda.
