Awesome as all the other times. This has been another great experience. I have bought several vehicles from Chanin with Randy Kuehl Honda in the past and I have never had an issue. This has been another great experience. I have bought several vehicles from Chanin with Randy Kuehl Honda in the past and I have never had an issue. That is why I keep returning. From the time I walk in to look I have made the deal in no more than a couple of days. I will be back next time I'm shopping for another new vehicle. I hope to work with Chanin again in the future. He was able to answer most of our questions, and took time to make sure we knew how to use the many new features of the 2018 Odyysey. Our first time here, and it was a pleasant one! I am disappointed that the 2018 EX-L Odyssey doesn't have a compass unless you get the navigation/RES package. I thought a compass came standard with most vehicles, so I didn't realize this until I had already purchased the vehicle. More

The van had had only one owner and she had had all of the work done at this dealer. I chose to do the same, and have been very impressed so far with the level of knowledge and fairness shown to me. Twice, I have brought in problems that could easily have been expensive to fix -- when I wouldn't have questioned a hefty bill -- but the repair personnel have found less-expensive solutions. It is clear that this dealer understands the value of long-term satisfied customers over the short term buck to be made. I will be back! More

Having just gone personally repl I brought my '07 Odyssey in 2 weeks ago with difficulty steering at low speed and whining in the engine compartment. Having just gone personally replaced one on my Chevy Silverado, it had all the makings of a power steering pump issue. My Odyssey has 199K miles on it. On the drop-off sheet, I suggested power steering pump issue. Dealership reported that there was an air leak in one of the PS fluid hoses. Replaced just the hose, charged me $500 and away I go. Technician started, drove and heard no noises. For the last 2 weeks, the noise has returned, I brought it back, and they charged me another $580 to replace the PS pump. Hmmm...seems like that should have been part of the original fix. I have no problem paying for a PS pump or the incremental labor to replace it. It does bug the crap out of me that I had to bring it back a 2nd time. My point is that the OPTION of replacing the PS pump was not even offered to me during the original fix. Something like: "Hey, we only found a problem with the line, and can't tell if the PS pump is damaged, but you do have 199K miles on this one. Would you like us to replace the PS pump as long as we've got everything taken apart? We have one sitting on the shelf, and here's what extra it'll cost: _____" Instead, they tell me that they don't "hard-sell/up-sell" work on items that don't exhibit failure and that don't have a recommended replacement/maintenance schedule. While I appreciate that, how about thinking about the possibilities of a leaky hose putting air into the PS system and possible damage to the PS pump? At least if they offer it to me, and I turn it down, then I've got no one to be mad at but myself for not doing it. As it was, I had to bring my car back, deal with alternate transportation plans, pay for them to put it up on the rack again, drain the system again, add the fluid again, test out the system again. They had all that done once, at least give me the option! And, sure I can go somewhere else...1 is 30 miles away, the other is 50 miles. For Honda authorized service in Cedar Rapids, I'm stuck with them. More
