Not an easy place to purchase a truck I purchased a 2019 truck from Planet Ford and it took literally ALL day. It was the slowest process that I've ever experienced purchasing a vehicle. I purchased a 2019 truck from Planet Ford and it took literally ALL day. It was the slowest process that I've ever experienced purchasing a vehicle. Several times I thought about just getting up and walking out, but because of the time I had already invested, decided to stay. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't purchase a vehicle from them. The financing took way too long. My wife and I have perfect credit, but wanted my wife to be the primary person on the loan. The finance guy couldn't seem to understand this and tried to sneak in the paper work showing me as the primary person. That's when I should have left, because it took several extra hours. The truck and the sales staff are great. I felt I got a fairly good deal, but I should have negotiated better. One additional complaint is that they are telling me it will take 2 months to get my plates. WHY? It just seems that Planet Ford made this entire process very difficult. More

Oil Change - Check Engine Light August 02, 2019: I took my 2017 Platinum Ford Explorer in for a oil change at Planet 🌎 Ford on 59. Oil change is FREE per my maintenance agreement, N August 02, 2019: I took my 2017 Platinum Ford Explorer in for a oil change at Planet 🌎 Ford on 59. Oil change is FREE per my maintenance agreement, No Problem! There is a hour wait, No Problem. I looked around at all the new vehicles in stock. Great 👍! They finally come get me after about 2 hours. Your SUV is ready, however the Check Engine Light is on now, wasn’t on when I brought it in. Service writer told me I could bring it back after the weekend to have it checked out. It would take all day and would cost a little over $400.. I was not satisfied with that so I left. I have a mechanic I’ve been using for 30 years. I told him the history, I asked for him to check it for me. I WENT IN FOR A OIL CHANGE, THE OIL SENSOR WAS THE CAUSE OF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! Coincidence maybe but I don’t think so. My point of this review is to tell everyone to get a SECOND OPINION or DIAGNOSIS if something does not seem right,after all it’s your money 💰 and your vehicle. Conclusion: There was nothing wrong with my Explorer and I didn’t waste a day & $400 for nothing. Hope this helps someone else.
