I was EXTREMELY hesitant in the beginning because of all the talk about car salesmen and their tac This was my first car buying experience by myself. I was EXTREMELY hesitant in the beginning because of all the talk about car salesmen and their tactics. When I first went to test drive the Crosstrek, I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff was. When I met with Alex, he really listened to what I had to say about my lifestyle and interests. Instead of pushing me to go for the more expensive car (which would have absolutely given him more commission), he guided me to the car that fit my needs. On my second visit, we sat for some time, discussing costs of options and their opportunity cost. I said what I wanted, and he found it for me. We worked out the price to something I was comfortable paying. He gave me some homework (buying insurance, getting a bank check, changing my address on my license) that is necessary when buying your first car, and sent me on my way. The terrified look I had in my eyes, after realizing how much a car actually costs, vanished when Alex handed me the keys and said "here, go play" when I went to pick up my Crosstrek. I have a lot of trust in Alex as he walked me through the entire process, with my best interests in mind. Ramsey Subaru has won a repeat customer. More

He found the exact car I wanted -- EXACT -- car I wanted: on a ship somewhere on the Pacific Ocean! He told us to expect it to arrive the last week of April or the first week of May. He phoned on April 23 to say my new Subaru Forester had arrived. I picked it up the following Wednesday, and, again, everything was easy. Alex had handled everything smoothly, his colleague Ryan Walsh showed us how the car worked (very effectively, I must add), and the money part -- like everything else -- was easy.
