My wife and I were looking for a used FX-35 Infiniti when we came across one listed on auto trader by Ramsey Nissan. The price was low for the mileage so we figured we would call first to see what the catch we came across one listed on auto trader by Ramsey Nissan. The price was low for the mileage so we figured we would call first to see what the catch was. We reached Jose Castano and he assured us that the truck was there and that was the price with "no strings attached". We told him we would be driving over 40 minutes to see this truck and asked if he could hold it for us till we got there. The whole ride there we kept saying that it was too good to be true. Low and behold when we got there and met with Mr Castano, he brought us right to the truck which he said had just come in and to our pleasant surprise was everything it was supposed to be. We then met with Mr. Gamboa and Mr. Jaroki to discuss financing options. Rich Jaroki the finance manager offered us very competive loan terms when we mentioned we had checked out our bank. Rich and Bane were able to get us better terms then our own bank. Before we left John Creran who is the sales manager met with us to personally thank us. After everything was signed and we were ready to leave, we let the cat out of the bag and told Jose we were hesitant the entire ride out. We hear so many bad stories about car dealers that you come to expect the worst. Ramsey Nissan did the right thing by us that day and we are happy to share our experience. More
Let me start by saying that Rosalia was absolutely wonderful. She tried her best to get me into a decent car at a good price. UNFORTUNATELY, honesty is not the policy. Rosalia from what I understand ( wonderful. She tried her best to get me into a decent car at a good price. UNFORTUNATELY, honesty is not the policy. Rosalia from what I understand (I was told by another manager there) was terminated along with her team "because she wasn't making the dealership enough money and making too many concessions". Throughout my deal negotiation, Marty Schuvall consistently came in to "check on how things were going". He didn't want me to inspect the vehicle, because it was in tip-top shape. Rosalia told me to go ahead and the look he gave her was priceless. After not having the car I wanted, Marty suggested three cars. One was already sold, one was in the process of being sold and the third didn't even meet my qualifications. Rosalia eventually got me into a car that met most of my requirements for a decent price. They said that the car was in excellent condition and that everything had been changed and fixed on the car. I informed them I'd take it to my own mechanic to have it checked out. I did, and what do you know, there was work that needed to be done. I called Rosalia back and let her know what the mechanic and another Nissan dealer said needed fixing (I've since had it looked at by 3 Nissan service depts and a mechanic and they all agree on the same things). She said no problem I made a promise bring it in AND WE WILL FIX IT NO CHARGE YOU JUST BOUGHT THE CAR!! I informed her that I couldn't until the next week. During the course of that week Ms. Lafaro and her team were terminated. I spoke to Marty (who remains) and he took me through this whole song and dance about Rosalia not knowing what she's talking about and it not making a difference because their GM wouldn't fix it anyway. I eventually met the slickster John Creran who true to form is the epitome of every stereotypical car salesman. I am still going back and forth with them over the issues with the car. As if that wasn't enough, they jacked up my registration and insurance. Marty completed my paperwork and submitted all the wrong information. My registration address and license were wrong, and they had the audacity to tell me if I wanted it fixed I would need to pay to have it fixed. I paid them fees to register the car and produce a title...over 2 months later no title, incorrect registration, no repairs, and multiple hangups. PLEASE DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH RAMSEY AUTO GROUP!!!! I bought a used car from Ramsey, had an issue which required service. I brought back the car the following week which I was told that it would be taken care of by my sales agent, but to my surprise whe required service. I brought back the car the following week which I was told that it would be taken care of by my sales agent, but to my surprise when I arrived (after an 1.5 hour drive) the service department had no idea what was going on. The customer service rep was extremely rude and told me " if you want to buy a car you see sales if you need service you call me". Needless to say, I spent half the day there and was told to come back next week. Have you seen the price of gas? My next issue was that there was a discrepancy in the sales contract, in which they owed me money and we are not talking about $25. It is quite a bit. After three months and numerous phone calls I am still waiting for that check,of which I have been told three times that it had been sent. Still waiting, and getting more aggravated by the minute. Need I say more????????? Calling my lawyer............................ More
Had brought my car (Quest 05) in for transmission problems (noise/slipping) After waiting for a LONG time, mechanic comes in to tell me there is nothing wrong with the car. We go out for a test drive problems (noise/slipping) After waiting for a LONG time, mechanic comes in to tell me there is nothing wrong with the car. We go out for a test drive, he hears the noise and feels the slip. We go back, he checks the car again, still nothing. Sales mgr tells me, there was nothing to find even though we heard the noise and felt the slippage. Then added, "Your lease is up soon, save the problem for the next guy!" One month later, the car is barely moving. I bring it back, I am told the trans is shot! They will have to put a brand new trans in. Two weeks later, I get the car back. Instantly it smells like burning fuel and transmission not going into gears! This senario happened SIX TIMES! Back at this dealership, 2 Transmission (Car only had 35,000 mi) Almost 2 months without this car, renting cars cause Nissan did not have courtesy cars! They do now! They also tried to charge me for a ding to one of the "courtesy cars"...wasn't there when I dropped it off and NO-ONE came to look at the car either. Many headaches, attitude from service (like it's my fault) And still has transmission issues!! I contact Nissan Corp...NO HELP! Corp told me to deal with the service Mgr ONLY..I did..several calls, none returned. I mailed a letter to the owner, nor reponse.Calls back and forth to Corp...stopped returning my calls. I complained to BBB... Ramsey Nissan ignored. Case still open. So now, the car is back in their possession (lease is over)Even turning the car in was a problem..had all the inspections done, drove there to drop it off..nobody would take the lease back. We were told one guy and one guy only does that. I called the next day to make an appt..I found out they lied. ANYBODY could have taken it back! The car has been turned in and apparently the problem (Trans) is "for the next guy" BUYER BEWARE!!! I now drive a Mazda...zoom, zoom, zoom! More
The Ramsey Nissan dealership is by far the worst dealership I have ever visited in my life. From the top management to the salesmen they are completely dishonest. I purchased a new car recently and dealership I have ever visited in my life. From the top management to the salesmen they are completely dishonest. I purchased a new car recently and was tricked throughout the entire deal. They said one thing in a verbal contract and then changed the deal in the written contact. In the process of this transaction I felt threatened, offended, and downright angry. I would recommend that any people thinking of buying a car from this dealership to reconsider. There is no consideration for customer satisfaction they only care about the sales. More
Bottom line figure changed. Trade amount changed. We requested old plated be transfered... ended up having to pay more to get new plates that they ordered in error. Would not return calls. Will never requested old plated be transfered... ended up having to pay more to get new plates that they ordered in error. Would not return calls. Will never go back there again. Not honest More
Ramsey Nissan was dishonest, misleading, and pushy and made my car buying experience a very negative one. The sales-rep. who was dealing with us was trying to push a car on us we obviously were not intere made my car buying experience a very negative one. The sales-rep. who was dealing with us was trying to push a car on us we obviously were not interested in and made it difficult for us when we tried to get any information on the model we did want. It was clear that the dealership was trying to get rid of a surplus of certain models down to the very color of the car. They were skeptical of a deal I showed them that I printed off their own website and lied to us so many times between when we signed for the car to the actual closing that we called the deal off and asked for a return of our down payment. I would not recommend them to anybody. They don’t even lie well… More
On 9/20/06, I took my Murano in for an oil change. My car was returned with a non-working nav system. They accused me of taking out the DVD, which was unbelievably scratched. It turned out that someone in the was returned with a non-working nav system. They accused me of taking out the DVD, which was unbelievably scratched. It turned out that someone in the service dept. had replaced my DVD with the scratched & incorrect version. My nav system didn't work properly until Feb. 3,'07,after involving the CEO of Nissan & Nissan Consumer Affairs, which sent the alignment disc & the correct DVD.No one in the service dept knew what to do. I never received an apology or any acknowledgment that the service department was crooked.I will never go there again!!! More
One of the worst I dealt with. Was trading in my 2000 Altime SE for a new Maxima. Test drove the car and loved it, started working out the numbers and later found out that they didn't have the color I w Altime SE for a new Maxima. Test drove the car and loved it, started working out the numbers and later found out that they didn't have the color I wanted. I was pressured into buying a black maxima and I simply said no. The sales manager came out and started giving me more for my trade-in, I persistently said I wasn't interested in black and wanted the car sooner than later. The sales manager then told me that I wasn't serious about making the deal and started yelling at me, he told me to go somehwere else. I got up and walked out, the sales person called me the next day asking me to come back, I told him...no thanks, went to another dealer and have my new sterling mist Maxima sitting in the driveway. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!! More
Poor service, but unfortunately average for dealerships. The belts on my '02 Frontier were starting to slip and make that squealing sound so I brought it in to the dealer, same as where I bought it. About 4 The belts on my '02 Frontier were starting to slip and make that squealing sound so I brought it in to the dealer, same as where I bought it. About 4 hours later they called to say the truck needed belts, but they don't have any and will have to have them overnighted from Nissan. No belts? at a dealership?. Ok, maybe they had a run on them. Next they proceed to run down a list of things that needed to be done which would have totaled over $1000, including the third brake light which they said must be replaced because it was full of water and did not work. I had just had the truck inspected 6 days before and it passed with no problems, and it hadn't rained very much that week, so I told them to just do the belts. After I got it home I looked at the third brake light, and there was some water in it which I dried out, resealed and it works just fine. It makes me wonder about all the other things they said HAD to be done. More
