The Ramsey Nissan dealership is by far the worst dealership I have ever visited in my life. From the top management to the salesmen they are completely dishonest. I purchased a new car recently and dealership I have ever visited in my life. From the top management to the salesmen they are completely dishonest. I purchased a new car recently and was tricked throughout the entire deal. They said one thing in a verbal contract and then changed the deal in the written contact. In the process of this transaction I felt threatened, offended, and downright angry. I would recommend that any people thinking of buying a car from this dealership to reconsider. There is no consideration for customer satisfaction they only care about the sales. More
Bottom line figure changed. Trade amount changed. We requested old plated be transfered... ended up having to pay more to get new plates that they ordered in error. Would not return calls. Will never requested old plated be transfered... ended up having to pay more to get new plates that they ordered in error. Would not return calls. Will never go back there again. Not honest More
Ramsey Nissan was dishonest, misleading, and pushy and made my car buying experience a very negative one. The sales-rep. who was dealing with us was trying to push a car on us we obviously were not intere made my car buying experience a very negative one. The sales-rep. who was dealing with us was trying to push a car on us we obviously were not interested in and made it difficult for us when we tried to get any information on the model we did want. It was clear that the dealership was trying to get rid of a surplus of certain models down to the very color of the car. They were skeptical of a deal I showed them that I printed off their own website and lied to us so many times between when we signed for the car to the actual closing that we called the deal off and asked for a return of our down payment. I would not recommend them to anybody. They don’t even lie well… More
On 9/20/06, I took my Murano in for an oil change. My car was returned with a non-working nav system. They accused me of taking out the DVD, which was unbelievably scratched. It turned out that someone in the was returned with a non-working nav system. They accused me of taking out the DVD, which was unbelievably scratched. It turned out that someone in the service dept. had replaced my DVD with the scratched & incorrect version. My nav system didn't work properly until Feb. 3,'07,after involving the CEO of Nissan & Nissan Consumer Affairs, which sent the alignment disc & the correct DVD.No one in the service dept knew what to do. I never received an apology or any acknowledgment that the service department was crooked.I will never go there again!!! More
One of the worst I dealt with. Was trading in my 2000 Altime SE for a new Maxima. Test drove the car and loved it, started working out the numbers and later found out that they didn't have the color I w Altime SE for a new Maxima. Test drove the car and loved it, started working out the numbers and later found out that they didn't have the color I wanted. I was pressured into buying a black maxima and I simply said no. The sales manager came out and started giving me more for my trade-in, I persistently said I wasn't interested in black and wanted the car sooner than later. The sales manager then told me that I wasn't serious about making the deal and started yelling at me, he told me to go somehwere else. I got up and walked out, the sales person called me the next day asking me to come back, I told him...no thanks, went to another dealer and have my new sterling mist Maxima sitting in the driveway. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!! More
Poor service, but unfortunately average for dealerships. The belts on my '02 Frontier were starting to slip and make that squealing sound so I brought it in to the dealer, same as where I bought it. About 4 The belts on my '02 Frontier were starting to slip and make that squealing sound so I brought it in to the dealer, same as where I bought it. About 4 hours later they called to say the truck needed belts, but they don't have any and will have to have them overnighted from Nissan. No belts? at a dealership?. Ok, maybe they had a run on them. Next they proceed to run down a list of things that needed to be done which would have totaled over $1000, including the third brake light which they said must be replaced because it was full of water and did not work. I had just had the truck inspected 6 days before and it passed with no problems, and it hadn't rained very much that week, so I told them to just do the belts. After I got it home I looked at the third brake light, and there was some water in it which I dried out, resealed and it works just fine. It makes me wonder about all the other things they said HAD to be done. More
This was the absolute worst car buying experience I could have imagined. I bought a used car from these guys and it fulfilled every used car salesman sterotype that I could have imagined. The salesman acut have imagined. I bought a used car from these guys and it fulfilled every used car salesman sterotype that I could have imagined. The salesman acutally yelled at me and then left the dealership mid way through the buying process. He took offense to the fact that I was not going to buy a car with only a valet key and no remotes. To him it seemed reasonable to spend 20k on a car and only have one key that does not even let you open the trunk. When I finally did buy the car (from someone else who agreed to have keys and remotes made for me), I found out that they did not actually have the title to it (which is common practice among car dealers, but is technically illegal). Because they did not have the title I could not get the car registered. So I spent two months driving a car with temporary plates but more importantly I was paying for a car that I did not own. After 75 phone calls and a giant run around where everyone in the dealership claimed ignorance, I finally got in contact with the owner of all 11 of the Ramsey auto group dealerships and he agreed to give me my money back. It was the most unprofessional bunch of people with absolutely no regard for customer service (although they continuously preach that they pride themselves on their service. I wouldn't deal with them again if they were giving the cars away. These people should be embarrassed to run a business like this. It just goes to show you that the car business is still a shady business. In the end they did remedy the situation but that is only because I would not stop calling and would not settle for anthing less than them giving me my money back. There are a million car dealerships you can deal withm, I would avoid this one like the plague. More
I would rate the professionalism of the sales department a 5. The problem is if you require service after. If you have a car that requires alot of warranty work they will gladly take you but unless they c a 5. The problem is if you require service after. If you have a car that requires alot of warranty work they will gladly take you but unless they can find something obvious, they don't help you. The sales manager isn't even familiar with the accessories that come with the car and is generally cold/unfriendly. What I find most amusing is the description you will find on their website describing him...<br><br>"Service Manager - Dave Pskowski<br><br>Dave Has been with Ramsey Nissan for over 9 years.
